Nope. Merely gargling to warm her tonsils up.Psychosis wrote:The Fat Lady Is Singing
It is not "over" until you cannot make it. Mathematically, we can still make it.
We'll not win next week unless (I'll think of something between now and next Friday...........).

He was hit on the jaw by a Geelong bloke's head whilst both were going for the ball. He was way out of it. Went straight down. Taken off and looked half asleep sitting on the bench. Injury report just said "jaw" but it wouldn't surprise me if it was broken.

Injury sidelines Magpies' Didak
July 10, 2004 - 2:49PM
Collingwood utility Alan Didak will miss at least the next month after suffering a fractured jaw in last night's 29-point AFL loss to Geelong at Telstra Dome.
The in-form Magpie collided with Cat Steve Johnson's shoulder late in the game and had to be helped from the field.

Yeah. I know.Dale61 wrote:Hey Doc, Eddie gave you a mention last night. Cometti mentioned something about the cheersquad not having any PhD's, and then mentioned you and offered to show Cometti a copy of your thesis.
The irony of it all is that I'm not in the Cheer Squad any more. In fact I wasn't even at the game. I was home watching it on TV.
I must say, I got a bit of a laugh, sitting there in my living room, minding my own business, and then hearing my name mentioned on national television. It brightened up an otherwise abysmal night.

I read with interest a couple of the" player points "scored for the game against the cats and I wondered if we were watching the same game.
Cole or Autumn leaves,(always falling to the ground) Was good out of defence on the run, but if ablett had kicked straight he should have kicked 7 and Cole, who I beleive played on him ,would be exposed as not an improving player ,as described in one post, but a poor defensive player with poor foot skills.
Presti was never in front of his man and had his opponent kicked straight, he could have kicked 4 or 5.
Do geelong s blue and white hoops look like Black and White stripes. because O"Bree kept kicking the ball straight to them at CRUCIAL times in the game. Not once or twice, but OFTEN. Then topped it off with that piss poor effort of a banana in the last qtr when a straight kick would have had the difference 3 points.
Taz , Rocca and Bucks missed sitters to once again reinforce my beleif that they let us down missing the goals that count.
Many stars for us including Tarks, Dids Johnno Clement Fraser , Lonie was good.
Rocca need not have played nor McKee.
Umpiring was a disgrace as was the playing surface.
Had we kicked our early goals and hit targets with our disposal, as geelong did, we should have won.
Mathematically, now the roos have won, it's over.
Clement- turned it over 6 times by either on the full, to geelong player or to no -one. His worst game all year.
Rocca can't take any marks. His brother is playing much, much better
Ben Johnson - had a shocking last month.
Fraser - I can't figure out if his a ruckman or a forward. His not good at any of them at the moment.
But yeah, MM is kidding himself if he thinks we can win GF with players like Obree and such.
What about David King? His played like 1 game this year. It's time somewhere gave mick a shake up.
