Josh Fraser you superstar! Not only did he kill spider around the ground he got 9 more hitouts, and from where I was watching spider even spent more time in the ruck. Didaks looking like become the player we all hoped he would, didn't look soft at all and layed 4 tackles. Finals still going to be hard to make but if we do get it we'll give it a bit of a shake.

Great move by MM to give Dids and Leon a run in the middle. They both played their best game of the year. Josh also played his best game for a long time, gave Spider a bath in the ruck. Bucks showed how valuable he will be as a forward and I must say Julian Rowe made an impressive debut despite his poor disposal.

Overall despite the poor opposition the best performance by our boys all year. It amazing what we can achieve when we play four quarters of football.

A good win but hawthorn played very ordinary, i agree very boring game but good to see a few blokes get a few possesions this could give them some confidence against a see were we are at game again against the cats.Bux's goal was special looks like schwab may come out and step down ala frawley.

1. clement
2.cole
3. fraser
4.licuria- buckley
5. didak

I just got back. Great win, although we would have won by more if we kicked straight.

I will post more tomorrow, but right now, I'm off to a 21st. GO PIES!

It was great to win a game. A guy that sits near me said to me at the start.....'Can't believe they've got Davis in' and i said...just watch what he does today...he often sets up more goals than you normally can see........and well played Davis for doing just that. In fact, all our area were listening to MMM saying the same thing, we made a joke of it in the end.... i.e. The ball went near Leon...you watch, we'll get a goal from this and WE DID!

But, apart from having all that fun and us winning, it was boring......I love the edge of the seat games, (my heart doesn't!) and it just didn't grab me like that, although, i'll take the 4 points and the 5.9% we got from the slaughter :) Now having said all that, i'd happily sit through boring games like today for the rest of the season :)

Great win. At last, able to sit back & enjoy the last quarter without having to worry about being run over the top of.
How good was Josh??? Skipper material. Clement, Wakes, Dids were great. Presti thrashed that dud Croad.

beautiful, same bad mistakes made on occasions, and hawthorn are complete duds, but who cares? sensational game josh and jimmy clement, well done daks, and julian rowe for an impressive first game.

P.S, jeez, jimmy clement can kick the ball a bloody mile cant he? :D Also loved it when rocca went for that impossible shot after the siren, the sad hawthorn Krava behind me was complaining about it!

Great. Fantastic. Knew they could do it. It was such a relief to watch a game I knew we had won by three quarter time instead of feeling that we could get run over by the end. The Hawks are in serious shit. Wouldn't mind betting half of them get the sack or traded at the end of the season. Back to our game, good on ya Leon - more games like that and MM won't be tempted to use you as bait come trading time. Dids, Fraser, Clement, Cloke, and Tarks back at his best - who could ask for more? Actually, a little more accuracy around the goals would be good, but we can't have everything.
Congrats Bucks, on a great return! Bring on the Crows!
