Hi Kristin5, I saw you on the bus last week after the match.

Well I hope we belt the Hawks, I am coming down for the match and I want to get my time and money's worth.

I have been to 3 live matches this year all resulting in losses so I think that I am due for a win.
I still reckon Rocca got that goal

We didn't get our 40 acres and a mule
But you're my piece of the rock
And I love you CC

The teams will be up on Nick's Collingwood Page as soon as they come to hand, either as soon as they are posted on here, or as soon as I hear them.

The INS and OUTS will be posted each week on Nick's Collingwood Page.

I find it amazing that it took MM 38 games to realise Matty Lokan has not been doing much at all.

to have Davis, Didak, O'bree,Rowe, & Swan in the team with only O.B able to play midfield is silly.Shoulda kept Goughy.

Welcome to Collingwood Julian Rowe. At the start of the year he would have been the most unlikely to play out of the 2003 draftees but has risen above the rest of the list. Congratulationsa nd I'm sure you'll give your all.

As for the rest of the ins and outs, McGough. Why the hell would you drop our ball magnet???!!!! This decision has me baffled. Ditto Davis. Why keep an underperformer in the side? It is a reward for medioricrity, which is something I though the club didn't stand for. On a better note, Lokan was dropped. Yes, he is an honest player who give his heart and soul for the club week in week out and does the 1%ers etc...but he is not in our best 22 and need a spell at Willi. Also well done to Dane Swan - a real promising player for the future. We could have left O'B on the sidelines and kept McGoo. I hope MM knows what he's doing...

BTW - Barlow. Just the perfect time for him to return to AFL. Against us. He absoulutley destroys us almost every match we play them.

Swan is in to replace MCG and I think MM has lost patience with MCG's less than average disposal by foot - MMF mentioned this about a month ago and I think he may be right.

Swan is much quicker over the ground than MCG, harder at the player and his disposal by foot and kicking for goal are light years in front of MCG.

Rowe looks like a good young kid with better than average skills on both sides of the body. He has pace and will give a better effort than R.Shaw has.

I know there are 9 rounds left but I venture to say that R.Shaw and MCG may have played their last senior games, at least for 2004.

OB will be played for the next few games and he may be auditioning for a spot on next years list.

I am glad C2 is having the surgery now and will be fit for pre season and this pre season hopefully he and C1 will not have contests and both overtrain themselves.

For the moment, I think I'll focus on wishing Julian Rowe all the best and trust he has an excellent debut. I will look forward to watching him on Saturday afternoon.

Scoobydoo, you asked for Davis and Lokan's stats for the past year - here they are:

Davis: http://stats.rleague.com/afl/stats/play ... Davis.html

Lokan:http://stats.rleague.com/afl/stats/play ... Lokan.html

MM has done the right thing in demoting Lokan to the VFL. We are playing for the future. He will, most likely, not be at the club in 2006.

mm is probably rotating some players to see if the up and coming players can play at the top level of afl.

as for the game this is a HUGE game we win and we might still have a chance and if we lose we are gone
