Out - Shaw, Presti, MCG, C2
In : Shacks, Tex, Taz, Max.
Max allows Lonie to play the full game on the wing, Tex for Presti, Shacks for MCG and Shaw to make way for Taz.
I have not taken into account OB - so he could be a wildcard.
I doubt MM will make more than 3 changes as is his normal max. to drop.
I hope he rotates Magic and Dids on the ball and rests Bux more across HF.

Danger game? I reckon a danger game only applies to teams who are in danger of missing out on something i.e. finals. The Pies are out of finals contention and this game, I feel, is more about bringing a couple of youngsters in especially Shack. I think the team will probably play more attacking football because they really have nothing to lose. What happens if we win? More likely to finish 11th-12th. If we lose? Bottom four.

no matter who is out or in, can we please please please for the sake of having to face my dawk supporting family for the rest of the year, DESTROY these bastards. It'll be nice to see some youngsters putting the ball down tazza's throat so he can kick a bundle. Go Pies!
life is too important to be taken seriously - especially if you're a collingwood fan.

Rain, hail or shine I am attending the much, my only withdrawal from the game will be if Ben Kinnear gets a game.
In all sincerity, my changes would be as follows;
Out: C2, Shaw, Lokan
In: Taz, Shacks, Mullins
No way given that its likely to be terrible conditions would you drop MCG, the extractor needs to play this week. Looking forward to a Lonie v Lonie match up though.

As Gomaz implied, my main interest in dropping Ben K's name into discussions was to see just what sort of reaction I'd get. There is a mischievous side to me which I tend to subdue because it has more impact when I use it sparingly.
However, on reflection, I'm not sure it won't happen. According to Brad Gotch, Ben played well as a key forward in Willi's game at the weekend. A "lively performance" was Brad's assessment. And whilst I am on record as saying that the development of Cam Cloke and Tom Davidson would most likely see Ben depart the club at season's end, he is an experienced tall forward who is quite capable of filling in as the third tall in Cam's absence. There really is no other replacement and, at the end of the day, that's why this year has been so much about developing our younger talent - to create the depth which wasn't there at the beginning of the season and which caused us such grief for the first 8 weeks. Cam had stepped up but he and Davidson are now out for the rest of the season. Ergo, my friends.........
I still expect Davis, or possibly but unlikely, Didak, to be dropped as I don't think we can carry two under-performing small forwards (but if whoever remains doesn't put in a top performance, I think MM will bring in someone else from Willi the following week). Bucks will slot into the other HFF. I expect Lokan to step into a role alongside whoever plays FF and yet again I will pray that MM hears what we've so often said - play Rocca at FF! Rocca and Lokan provide a much tougher matchup up front.
However, one change which we seem to have all agreed upon which will occur is that Shacks will get his chance in the middle. I suggested MCG as the man to make way, but agree that conditions suggest he won't. I suspect that Johnno is carrying an injury and am coming to the view that Shacks will replace him instead.
I think it just as well MM said at the start of the season that it would be all about developing depth, because, just as we seem to have exited the woods, we've plunged straight back in again!

I have very deep fears about this game - for some reason, the Hawks are our danger team no matter what positions we are on the ladder. And usually some hack pops up and puts in a blinder
Not that I really care anyway - our season is over, so bring on the priority picks!

McGough would be handy in battering pretty powder puff samantha mitchell Malthouse has got to give the kid four quarters. Swan deserves a chance over lokan who hasn't done enough lately. Walker should come in for the loss of C.Cloke I haven't seen enough of the shack attack to know what he's like. for some wierd reason I think davis and didak will redeem themselves this week. But by the end of the game I want barlow bleeding from all orfices from a Scotty Burns shirtfront !

Unforunately, we don't know. There is a possibilty that he is carrying a nagging injury, but I doubt we would be told that, because players often play with minor injuries. Having said that, he could just be down on form.surfer1 wrote:Its has been asked a few times lately but I can't see anyone has replied. Is Johnstone carrying an injury or is he just tired from all the super games he has played earlier in the season?
Hopefully he recaptures some of his early season form this week against the Hawks.
