foxychick, Shacks shouldn't be too far away from senior selection. He was close to BOG today.

The Shaw boys could get a run before the season is out, and Tex, Mullins, Kingy and Bo could get a recall over the next few weeks.

As for Stunning, Willo and BK, not likely!

Don't know about the parking ons, I was on the Supporters Bus.

I don't pay much, if any, attention to the crowd, but there were cars parked the whole way around the ground.

The pleasing thing, I think, is the number of young CFC players listed amongst the best. With the Collingwood team now unlikely to make the finals it is a good time for these guys to find some form. Lets hope they get a chance to show what they can do in the big time.

Thanks for all the pics Dale. It is good to see some of these youngsters in action.

Hmmm Shacks looks like to have too much weight on him ... i'm surprised he can even run ... looks can be deceiving I suppose. He looks like someone from the legends game not an AFL listed player.

i think dids needs to go back into the reserves to get some touch up and confidence. Neon will go for tazza so maybe if tazza is replacing dids as our forwards that wil bring in shaks

apparently rfrom what gotchy has said shaks has lost some weight and has been doing this program and it has realy improved him. I think he will be a good player for us next year when he loses some more weight but it'd be good to blood him now

Foreigner, how many games have you seen him play?

As you said, looks can be deceiving, and he has certainly deceived you.

He needs the bulk to crash through packs which has become his trademark.

Reserve your judgement until he played 4-5 games.

he's not that fat. He still can run from A to B and considering his weight he can still run considerably fast and has good agility and match fitness from what he has produced in the last couple of weeks. Don't crucify him without seeing him in action. he's a good player with neat skills and we need someone like him in the centre. he will only improve as games advance so don't be so critical. You can't before he hasn't performed. I understand that we are all entitled to our own opinions, you think he's fat and probably too slow...yet there's a difference between probably and knowing so let's see the kid in action and you never know he might be what we are needin in the midfield :)

Nobody said he can't play or run ( from A to B). Nobody crucified him either. Its how fast he can run. & what we r needin in the midfield is someone to replace Bucks & Burns. Lets hope Shak can.

Dale, my usual ressies question.

48 Butler, Adam
7 Gowers, Kurt
53 Lee, Garry
46 Benson, Dean#
59 Grossman, Matthew
9 McKenzie, Kane
26 Crawford, Ryan
54 Watts, Ricky
55 King, Dale
57 Handreck, Richard
56 Maher, Stephen
28 Chiu, Anthony
51 McEwan, David
50 Goullet, Chris
60 Glenn, Stephen

Also where's Terry Knight, injured this week?? Any news on if we're going to see Zane Leonard play anytime soon?? He looked great in the preseaon Vic Park praccy match I saw but hasn't been sighted since (apart from half a 2's game). Did he tear the hammy out of his leg????

The bus didn't arrive until just after half time, and by the time I worked out where to sit for the best pics, it was almost 3/4 time, so didn't get much of a chance to see who was playing. I got most of those that went into the forward line though.

There was one player sitting in the dug-out with a leg heavily strapped, but don't know who it was.

48 Butler, Adam - ?
7 Gowers, Kurt - Yes
53 Lee, Garry - Yes
46 Benson, Dean# - Yes
59 Grossman, Matthew - ?
9 McKenzie, Kane - Yes
26 Crawford, Ryan - ?
54 Watts, Ricky - ?
55 King, Dale - Has returned to Perth.
57 Handreck, Richard - ?
56 Maher, Stephen - ?
28 Chiu, Anthony - ?
51 McEwan, David - Yes
50 Goullet, Chris - No longer listed? (Tevita Tavelangi now listed as wearing #50, but T-Man wore #45 on Sunday. This means #52 is not allocated - Rupe maybe?).
60 Glenn, Stephen - ?

No idea on Knighter, maybe he was the injured player mentioned above.

Zane's injury was pretty serious, and maybe he came back to early as he is still struggling with soreness in the muscle.
