I don't mind him. Perhaps we could get one back for Heath Scotland, who ended up being fairly serviceable for them.

Put it this way, he’s got MacRae, Sullivan and Long all covered and one of them was getting a game in the seniors every week last year.
He’s a big unit and he sees himself as an inside mid.
I will believe it when I see it but I wouldn’t be disappointed if he landed at the Pies. Likely a third round pick in return. Blues have salary cap problems, so it might all depend on how busy they are in the trade period. If they find a way to land a decent player during the next couple weeks, then there’s more chance they will release Kennedy from his contract. They’ve already handed Jack Martin to the Cats for nothing, so freeing up cap space is a priority for them. He’s also very good mates with Perryman ( played all their junior footy together ) so maybe Kennedy’s interest in the Pies has ramped up too.

Our midfield is getting more big-body depth or is it getting crowded?...

There doesn't seem to be much media on Kennedy at the moment or links to the Pies. Are Carlton going to go cold if they can't wrangle Houston out of Port. They'll have knives out for the Pies signing Perryman pushing Port to retain Houston and drive a harder bargain from the blues. Chris Davies talked up Port's terms or he stays. They want 2 first rounders. It's up to the blues to budge.

Apart from Perryman's junior days and GWS days with Kennedy, does anyone have any info from Kennedy or the Pies to indicate this might happen?

Never say No to a guy who can play.

Perryman and Kennedy are not AA, but Jeez, we will appreciate having them on our list as time rolls into 2026.

I’m guessing Carlton are being pain in the arses to deal with like they are with Port for Houston.

Was this reported anywhere?

Hmmm. Fallout from Port not getting who they want? Are Carlton only looking to move Kennedy of they get Houston? What if Kennedy simply requests the trade? It's clear he and the club arent too happy with his role.

We must get him!

(Heath Scotland, Dale Thomas... It's time to get one back!)

Kennedy is another ready-made midfielder and I think with the Fly's touch he becomes a player who has to prove his previous team wrong.
Sure he's no Cripps, but I still feel he will fill a role.

I keep waiting for a surprise trade-out to give us value in the market.

How are we feeling about this now? Talk has gone quiet. Is it possible to get Houston AND Kennedy?

I've taken a punt and bought a signature card of his on ebay... (It was $15). Hope we can still get him.

Not sure. If Carlton fail in their bid for Houston they may not release him. Depends how bad he wants to leave but has not requested a trade as yet so I am thinking it’s unlikely.
