Grundy has had a good contest with Fort (who is a pretty decent ruck) and is the Swans best player according to the AFL fantasy points. That is an absolute indictment on the swans so called superstar mids. They've folded like a house of cards under the Lions mids pressure.

Sydney wont get over this utter GF debacle for a very, very long time, two total GF annihilations in 3 yrs, smashed to pieces, crushed, take yrs to come to terms with this pathetic humiliating effort.

I haven't enjoyed a game so much since last year's GF. Sydney the greatest chokers in the history of ALL sport.
Brisbane winning everywhere. Their backline impenetrable.

somebody should tell the Donkey (never to be referred as the Horse again) that he is a modern day GF failure coach.

Happy for Fagan as well.

If I'm right, apart from Geelong's record-breaking grand final win against Port Adelaide in 2007 (in which they led by 90 points at three quarter time) and Hawthorn's 87-point lead at three quarter time in 1983, the two biggest three quarter time deficits in a grand final have been Sydney in 2022 (74 points) and Sydney today (73 points).

12 unanswered goals here and they’d still lose.

In defence of the Swans… it’s hard to win a game when your whole game plan revolves around the AFL Umpires giving you dodgy free kicks.

Unfortunately for the Swans the AFL had two expansion Clubs in the Grand Final and would be happy either way.
