Darcy is on record saying he wanted to play for Collingwood in the #44 too. This was well before last years GF of course.

Some interesting stats:
If Brisbane lose on Saturday, it will be back to back losing Grand Finals.
If Sydney lose on Saturday, it will be there 4th losing Grand Final in 10 years.
All on the line on Saturday.

Re: Grand Final. Swans v. Lions
Last year everyone (apart from us) was going for the Lions. And everyone was tipping the Lions. This year, peoples tips are all over the place. You could really see how cut ppl were, and still are, that Collingwood won.
Still dunno who I'd prefer to see win tomorrow. I think Swans will win. But do I prefer that? I think I'm leaning to yes. 2 Lions losses in a row, Fagan, Zorko, Daniher, Cameron... Yes Horse sucks, and yes the Swannywobbles would be nice to see, but I think Lions 2 in a row sits better, especially with a longer rivalry we have with the Lions.

It’s quite important that Brisbane keeps losing - all the former Fitzroy supporters need the team to perform in a way they understand. I’m not quite sure how they cope when the Bears finish higher than 12th (for old times’ sake).

When you think the Lions started 0-3 lost 4 players to ACL’s to make the GF is a great effort
Sydney have had challenges too. Fancy having to carry a 100+kg spud like Grundy this far
If Heeney Warner Gulden Rowbottom are some what naturalised then swans are in big trouble they’ve carried this team the entire year

The Lions have it won already. Lachie Neale made sure he was last to let go of the cup after last year's loss.
(Imagine they win so next year there is a mexican stand off and neither captain lets go, ha ha).

Longmire shits me, arrogant turd, snide pokes at our Coach few weeks back, over Mcstay non 50 meter, cost us victory. Stuff him and that punchable face Pap smear, love to see him bawling his eyes out post siren . Lions by 1 point, as in 1899 Go the Royboys. !

Spare a thought for Tay Adams. Left us for this opportunity and is not even an emergency today. With our injuries this year we could have done with him. Oh well that's what you get for spitting the dummy because we wouldn't play an injured player. The grass is not always greener.
