Slow start cost him. Hoping it doesn’t come down to the last round and his brother steels the 3 and he gets 2 whilst Cripps gets the 3.

Too many one votes to Nick. Cripps pulls away with each round. Will take a mighty finish from Nick and total collapse from Cripps.

This happens all the time in the Brownlow. Umpires seem to find a reason to not give the BOG / favourite the 3 votes.
That said. It’s not like Cripps hasn’t had a phenomenal year.

I’ve seen enough. Both players will get 6 votes in the last two rounds so Nick needs to pull him back in the next 6. Given we lose 4 on the bounce, that’s all she wrote.

Cripps must have photos of umps. Seriously can’t figure out how he got 3 votes for a few games where he was nowhere near BOG and other Carlton players should have polled votes.
