With a short break, coming off a trip to Brisbane and struggling for form, this was already going to be tough game.
Now Pies have lost one of their best players - Bonicci - to injury.

Will be lucky to have anyone left to play at this rate.

Hopefully they can put togther more a 1 or 2 quarter game and a couple of players step up to cover the loss of Britt.

Really stupid idea squeezing so many games into weeknights. And why are we playing at Carlton? We have lights at our training centre.

League decided to increase the number of H&A games aspart of the new players agreement.

But instead of increasing the length of the season, the morons decide that it would be a great idea to have a condensed round.
Just another demonstration that they don't really take it seriously.

And IKON has the best set up for night games together with it being designated as the 'home' of AFLW. Quite a few teams are playing home games there.

So we play 3 games in 9 days and these girls are not fully match fit. Bree Davies out with concussion and after kicking the first 2 goals the Lady Eagles have doubled our score. BTW they'd be lucky to have 100 in the "crowd".
WC 33 Col 13 halfway through the third.

Sorry but it will be a long time before we take this comp seriously.

The scheduling is crap.
School holidays start this weekend. If the league insists on midweek games, why not next week or the week after?

Agree the AFL and CFC don't seem to take this seriously at all, makes it impossible to get us fans to support or follow it. Disappointing as I thought I would be all over it but I'm not.

As if the season couldn't get any worse, Mikayla Cann suspended for 1 match.
Only 3 players suspended so far this season, 2 of them Pies.

At least Tarni White will be back for the game against the Western Bulldogs.

Bri Davey will miss 2 matches (due to compressed fixture) under concussion protocols.
