Melbourne is embarking on an external review

Post by LaurieHolden »

In a "major backflip" from the club, Melbourne is embarking on an external review after weeks of turmoil that followed a turbulent 12 months.

The mind still boggles over the decision to put Petracca back on the ground after sustaining his injury in the Kings birthday game.

You would think anybody with half a brain would have piped up and said "Nah, he's cactus and needs to get examined further".
The seriousness of his condition could have only been more obvious if a rib had been poking from his chest.

Frankly, I dont give a damn. as Gable said in movie, Gone with the Wind.

As long as they keep Goodwin I'll be happy. The bloke is a hopeless coach. Lucked into a flag in 2021 (a hangover from the Paul Roos influence). He's shown no ability to come up with a winning game plan since (and as insiders at the club will say, he carries a lot of personal baggage). Good he stays (pardon the pun).

Players want out, the coach is an unprofessional hack, there's been drug involvement... had they not won it in 2021, i rekon more players would be walking out.

I don't think they'll be any good for some time.
