Stevo has been given the bum's rush at the Kangas.

It will probably be a sad end to a promising career. Certainly given the bridges burned, even though that wasn't under Fly, I can't see him returning here (though the Hawks seem to have a much higher dickhead tolerance).

Where did you read/hear that? He still has 1 year left on his contract and there's nothing on the Roos or other sites saying that. I did read he had a fairly brutal exit interview with Clarko where he was told to extract his cranium from his sphincter and get in proper condition, but nothing saying he's gone.

I don't know whether we read the same admittedly 2nd hand report of it, but the one I saw said he had no role in Clarko's plan for 2025. I extrapolated that to mean the bum's rush.

I recall thinking to myself wouldn't it be great to get guys like Mac Andrew and Leek Aleer (Both after their game winning moments this year). SEN were talking about Leek Aleer and seem to think clubs have circled him as a trade target.
Leek is 23yo, 194cm defender. But I could just be overhyped by him after his heroics against Geelong earlier in the year. Mac wont be going anywhere, but anyone that beats Essendon after the siren is welcome at Collingwood.

Apparently Collingwood have crossed out Lukosius (From Jon Ralph). We were interested in the "Bowes-style" salary dump trade, but that isnt an option.

So i guess Luke is off the list.

I'm sure they wont be on anything like the money they were previously on. It may well free up salary cap space, with very capable players locked in.

Possibly but Collingwood seem to be playing their cards close to their chest or have no one in mind yet who they can get from the position they are in? Membrey, Davies, anyone else?

@SLORT Cheers. When clubs go looking for “ Moneyball “ players, the whole premise is about perceived improvement and growth in these guys, as opposed to what we all just see in the now. Sometimes the club gets it right, sometimes they don’t but the risk, reward of “ Moneyball “ trades will always have appeal.

do you put Finlay M. in that category then? Is that how other clubs may view him. The reality is, if you are a really good footballer, then a place will be found for you somewhere.
