Re: Finals qualification
Cmon giants! we want them to win so Freo are vulnerable in the last round
Ed Allen kicked our last goal of the year at the 58minute mark of the last quarter
Re: Finals qualification
Well, giants are getting it done. Demons lead by 28points with 15mins to go...Hopefully they're blowin their load this week.

Re: Finals qualification
Giants home by 9. With Bombers losing last night, that’s two results we needed with just three more to go (provided we can win today).

Re: Finals qualification
If any of Carlton, the Bulldogs or Hawthorn lose tomorrow, we’ll be in the 8 on Friday night if we beat Melbourne.

Re: Finals qualification
can't see dogs or hawks losing their last two.
carlton perhaps. if they lost both and freo loses to port next week (very possible) we would sneak in.

Re: Finals qualification
Don’t count the Roos out tomorrow either. The Bulldogs have a history of dropping games like this, and if they do then they’ve got a very tough game against GWS next week.

Re: Finals qualification
All results have gone our way so far.
[*] Sydney beat Essendon.
[*] GWS beat Fremantle. The most important result outside our own match.
[*] We defeat Brisbane.
West Coast def. Carlton and North Melbourne def. Western Bulldogs would top it off. The Eagles-Blues match is more important for our purposes.

Re: Finals qualification
At least GWS and Geebung will be keeping the pressure on Port Adelaide to get the win against Freo to ensure their 2nd place. So yeah, still a chance.

Re: Finals qualification
Yep Roos failed. Tigers failing. It’s eagles or bust now.
Looks like Will Day busted his shoulder and could miss the rest of the season. Sam Darcy came of age for the dogs. What an exciting and topsy turvy year of football it has been.
Who is the fittest and the most in form at the right time. Hopefully the eagles do their duty and give us one more week of hope
