In: Krueger, McCreery, Richards, Markov

Out: Harrison, Lipinski, Sullivan, Parker
I don't think Sullivan is starting 22 but I thought he did well as the sub against Richmond.
Having a tough onballer who can impact the stoppages for a quarter of football is a good sub to have.

I expect Parker to keep his spot over markov.
Jordy may play
Dont think richards, Sullivan or HH will. (unless sub for HH)
Kreuger was ruled out in the injury report.

Round 8 v these flops we laid 88 tackles and had a spread of 11 goal scorers (Nick the only multiple, with 2). We had no JDG and Checkers contributed little with no score from 9 touches.

Looking back at that match, we could have an almost identical line up

Win this and the dream is alive. Pies by 9 points.

McStay an Kruger big ins from last time we played an defeated these Blue Bastards. Perfect scenario, we are two points down, late last qtr , Pendles marks 20 meters out, right in front, siren goes, and he goes back an calmly puts it through, Scum lose by 4 points, Voss the toss, collapses on the boundary line. !

^ Kreuger is not in the side

On paper this is a strong team, a win will depend on what's between the ears,
plenty of motivation because of Pendlegoat!

Who is going to be the sub, maybe Bytel?
Frampton may be needed to help stop Carlton's big 'uns
Schultz named at CHF is B.S.
Ned Long named as ruck/rover is bloody interesting
  • McStay at CHF
  • Elliott & co at FF
  • WHE in FF line I like
  • Beau and Schultz to provide bone-crunching tackles on their backline
  • Nick Daicos to start at HB is good, move him to CC later in the game
  • Mason Cox will better this week after last week's run
We beat the Blues 8 out of last 10 times, this will make it 8 out of 11 times, hehe :D

The sub is likely to be out of Bytel, Lipinski, or possibly Sidey.

Assuming JDG is actually right to go, these are great ins and I'm confident we can smash the scum.

Great to have JDG and McCreery back in the team.

It's actually a relief to see Frampton named, as I think he's needed for the matchup against McKay.

My hope for this game is to see Long play the defensive midfield role on Cripps, protecting the space the way Pendles did last time we met.

They didn't tag Nick last time and he tore them a new one. Given the pressure they're under I expect Voss to do something dirty this time around, probably Cincotta (especially if Nick starts anywhere in their defensive half).

Pendles big match, 400, most possessions by any player, any club, since 1896, what a extraordinary magnificent player, for us, yeh the GOAT. Woods by 20 points, " so it is written, so it shall be done "- Rameses 11.
