Crystal ball is faulty. McStay will make a difference and I’m pretty confident the pies medical team know more than I so he must be a ok go run or the game. Wonder if Cox didn’t get up or is actually coming back via the vfl. Sullivan a bit surprising but HH was starting to look a big weary and JDG is not 100%.
Hoping for a more coherent performance. Still don’t see it but quietly hoping.

Early elimination Final, a must win, no more talk , analysis, thank heavens McStay is back, and Howe. This is it, we cannot lose 4 in a row time to hit these Dawk pricks with everything, utter desperation. I watched replay of our win over the Deeees on KB day, we did really well, play like that, we can win this for sure. Woods by 8-14 points.

It seems that Fly thinks we now have enough big man power, not to feel the need to play Cox. We'll see how that pans out I guess, but I think we have more agility and flexibility with McStay and Krueger, so I like the team selections.I suspect Howe will play in defence, now that we have McStay and Krueger up forward. Otherwise, in the absence of Frampton, we'd be too short in defence. Sullivan's inclusion is acknowledgement that our midfield has not been as effective as we need, possibly due to the injuries apparently being carried by JDG, who may well play more of a forward role from now on. Sullivan or Long have their limitations, but getting their hands on the pill is generally not one of them, so their job will be to feed the ball out to Nick Daicos, Crisp and Pendles. Apart from missing Checkers and Schultz, this is close to a full strength side, so we'll have no excuses if we don't win. Hopefully we don't incur further injuries and can settle on our preferred line-up and enable the team to gel into their positions and roles.

Won't get within 30 points in this. We are a rabble. Our captain couldn't get a kick in a stampede, our forward line is in disarray and rushing McStay back shows just how desperate we are.

$6.25 for the Hawks by 40+ . They've won 8 of their last 10 and are on a Sam Mitchell inspired rise up the ladder.

I remain convinced and fairly confident that we will win this by about 10 points. All to play for, this is the most important game we have had in quite awhile. Near full team minus 2 or 3. Not a certainty obviously but we have good chance of beating them.

I would like to see Long get an extended run. I liked some stuff he did last week. He tackled hard and laid some good blocks for Nick he just needs to get used to the pace at AFL level
I would like to see JDG Crisp Pendles start in the middle and Nick off HF or HBF
I think we need to take some heat off Nick. His body has been battered pillar to post the past couple months. Let him run free wherever he thinks he needs to be and become the general around the ground (looking to the future while he has Pendles still around)
When mids needs a bit of a rest rotate Long, Schulz, Elliott and Lipinski through the middle
Down back we have Howe Maynard Moore Noble IQ Sidey and Dean
McStay is a huge in just his presence gives our forward line a completely different look. Krueger all of a sudden get defender #2 and Elliott #3 WHE #4 etc it just gives us options
I still would have liked to have Cox in it helps give Cameron a chop, our he looks exhausted lately
Hopefully a much improved effort this week

I am not liking our chances in this game. Our problems run much deeper then personal. Too much left to too few. Mcstay coming back, might have been real boost earlier in the season, but I think it is too little too late now.

The side looks very out of confidence. Collingwood have struggled in so many areas of the game.

I dont think we will get within 20 points. Will Day, Worpel to have a feild day.
