Roadhouse on Prime, it's a "reimagining" of the 80's classic starring Patrick Swayze and it was pretty bloody good.
Basic plot, bouncer comes to a bar in trouble is the same, but different. Nice nods to the original, Hero is named Dalton, his new girlfriend is a Doc, bad guy is Brad, plus a few others. Thoroughly enjoyed it, unlike the putrid remake of Point Break.
Connor McGregor plays the bad guy muscle and is dead set funny as well as lethal, with a fetish for showing off his arse. (You couldn't drive a knitting needle up there with a sledge hammer) Overall, one of the best "reimagining" of an 80's movie I've seen.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Trouble with the curve.
2012 movie starring Clint Eastwood. Not my normal cup of tea but really enjoyed it. Grumpy old man who works as a baseball scout but is half blind, daughter who is a lawyer and about to be a partner in her firm joins him on the road and it's not a fun father daughter romp.
TP, if you watch this I reckon you'll howl at the end but might have some triggering issues during it.
Highly recommended.

Not sure if anyone here is familiar with Letterboxd but I've been posting some reviews and logging stuff I've been watching lately on there. Pretty good way to track your own viewing: https://letterboxd.com/furbicide/films/ ... /by/added/

everything Sydney did was brilliant, great movieroar wrote:Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967) was on SBS World movies on Sunday. Sidney Poitier, Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy star in a fantastic film that you all would know about but may not have actually watched. Watch it. It's well worth it.

Watched The Legend of Tarzan, I think it was on Netflix. 2016 movie, box office flop but I quite enjoyed it. I remember the old black and white TV Tarzan show back when I was a little kid and thought I'd give it a go, glad I did.
