More nervous than excited.

Hard game for us to win - manic pressure especially in our forward half is needed. With Markov back in it seems to signal quick transition will be the key to scoring.

Interesting to see how Sullivan and Harrison go - might surprise a few I reckon

What attendance do we thing it will be.
Im going with 98k could be the all time record highest attendance for a night match at the mcg.
Dont seam to get high 90s for night games like you once did.
Tonight should get up to 98k tho.

I dont think we will get within fives goals. I stand to be corrected, if it goes as expected.... I think we get jumped early..shall reel them back in slightly. But the power of Carltons forward line will see them win relatively comfortably.

To be any chance, we would have to really belt them out of the middle...I just don't see how we do that.

Been anxious all day.

Sad when my brother has to hide who he barracks for in fear of being picked on. Every time we play Carlton this happens and he gets a bit unlike himself. (He has Asperger's and is an easy target). He doesnt want to stay home though, so we'll be there.

And just to remind everybody what else we need to counter, this little nugget from 2023 in case you need reminding:

https://afltables.com/afl/stats/games/2 ... 30728.html

Round: 20 Venue: M.C.G. Date: Fri, 28-Jul-2023 7:50 PM Attendance: 86,785

30 Curnow, Charlie 6 goals
from 5 extremely dubious [bullshit holding] frees directly in front.

McKay was missing injured, thus Charlie was their avenue to goal; and the maggots didn't let him miss out either...

No other player on the field from either side got more than 2 frees...

Caaaaaarlton [and the maggots with whistles] by 6-8 goals :x

But hey; surprise me Pies...

^ Curnow got a ride from the umpires last game we played. He’ll kick 6+ if brown paper bags stuffed with cash have exchanged hands again.
