Umpiring has been dreadful but we weathered the storm, and are back in it. Cox dominating the ruck, must shark his tap outs more. Hit the ground running third qtr, and switch on totally, no relaxing, hit em an hit em hard, run em ragged now. No relaxing. Go Woods !!
Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Frampton good. Cameron very good again (leading our B&F). Reef has had an impact. Pendles workman like.
Moore just nowhere near it. Crisp a shadow of himself. Sidey missing some easy kicks. JDG just not having an impact.

The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

That was an improvement. I'm really liking Reef's game he attacks the ball positively. Quaynor looks like he has been listening to Yackety Sax all pre-season. Sidebottom? Let's see what his second half is like. Same for Pendlebury. Same for Elliot. Billy F is doing well and gives the backline the extra protection it didnt get last week.
We can win this but we are going to need to win ugly. Let's go.
Also why is an ex-St Kilda player (Leigh Fisher) umpiring this game? Its a clear conflict of interest and we should have protested as soon as he was named!

We've all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know this is not true.

Our play has been plagued by errors, but the intensity has massively lifted. The energy, ball movement and tackling pressure has been far more 2023 like.
If we can get back to 2023 skills in the second half, we win this game easily. If we dont, it is potentially heart break saloon, but definitely heart attack saloon for us as fans.
Really happy with Reef McInnes, he has provided a spark and energy sorely lacking over the last two weeks in F50.
Really happy with Billy Frampton. He has played really well in defence, and improved our defensive 50 cohesion and overall defensive performance.
Really happy with JElliott. He has impacted this game in the way he did last year.
Our veterans, Pendles and Sidey, are down. But have been involved several times positively, and their influence in the second half could be decisive, as we know from experience.
Really happy with Lipinski's game.
Would like to see more from JDG in the second half.
