Soz Nuxta, it wasn't Piebald Watson.
Soz Johnson#26, it wasn't Tranquilli.
For the player in question, it was their first MCG goal for the mighty pies - I was going to say it was the first EVER goal they kicked for the pies, but they'd already kicked 1 before this game.

Hi Ray Fidge
Yes mate - you got it.
Nathan Buckley is the correct answer.
The Round 2 game vs Carlton 1994 was his second premiership game for the mighty Pies, and his first for us on the MCG. He had kicked a single goal at Vic Park in Round 1 victory over the Roys, so it wasn't his first EVER goal for us.
I remember that we were on a roll in the 2nd quarter, killing the Blues all over the ground, and Bucks bombed a trademark super goal from outside 50 (his only goal for this game, but the first of so many more in his career). I hadn't even had a chance to get back into my seat before Micky McGuane kicked one of the greatest goals ever for the Pies. 2 awesome plays in a minute - heaven!!!
Hope that question wasn't too trivial (was it?). I was trying to think of something obscure that would stump people. Over to you Ray...
