Thank heavens Angry Ant Clarko, not OUR Coach !
Theres something bout Clarkson Ive never really taken too. Now hes in hot water again, for abuse, for umpteenth time. Be it punching holes in walls, or abusing a juniour umpire and a kids footy match, just an aggressive little turd. Sure, he coached 3 premierships, but remember he had our genious Graham Wright set a lot of that up, thru his genius recruting, plus he had the mother of all wonderful drafts, and great early draft picks, aka Hodge, Buddy, Mitchell, Rioli etc. Lets see how he goes with a pretty average young team, from scratch, with no real stars like that, for once. Hes not used to defeats, thats for sure. Im so glad we have Mr Cool and Calm, Fly, he would never do crap like that, far too level headed, calm, has dignity, decorum, patience, everything angry little ant Clarko does not have. !

Might be wrong, but were you not a fan of Clarkson a few years back and an advocate of bringing him to the club or am I confusing you with someone else?
For what it's worth, I think his tactics and philosophies are outdated more so than his questionable behaviour. He's still capable of a coaching masterclass on individual matchdays, but I think we've seen the best of him now of being the champion coach we can remember from a decade ago.
A lot of Hawthorn's core (e.g. Mitchell, Hodge, Franklin, Roughead, Lewis, Birchall and Rioli) was recruited by Chris Pelchen, before Wright took over the role as list manager and topped the list up with experience which allowed them to 3-peat in 2013-2015.

Maybe you have to be a real nasty piece of work to win back-to-back flags and stop hubris from being a factor.
Matthews, Clarko and Dimma all have their nasty traits.
Matthews - thug on the field, and infidelity
Clarko - thug on the field, and has anger issues
Dimma - thug on the field and also infidelity issues
