I am not here to make an outragous predictions or to troll or bait any supporters.... Just here to talk footy and learn more about other teams and players. If I know more about the teams we are playing I find I enjoy watching the games more.
Anyway......
Good call on the fluid state of your team. Not too many knows for you and that will make it hard to plan against for us. Interesting, over the last couple of weeks we have had surprises at the begining of the game in who has lined up in the oppositions forward line.
Against the Lions Bradshaw lined up on Neitz and Lepper went to full forward where he was picked up by Nicholson. Lepper kicked three in the first quarter till Nicholson worked him out and held him for the rest of the game and in Freo I think Glass went forward and did well against Nicho. Glass usually plays in the fullback possition.
I think it will go to the wire with your team settling on a team and that will keep us guessing. Would not surprise me if someone like Presti lined up forward for the begining of the game (if he plays) just to throw a curve into our backs.

droche (going back a few days here)- do you seriously think the inconsistent and leadership-devoid Neitz is a better captain than Buckley??
In regards to Melbourne trolls- the poor sods, there mustn't be enough people on their own bulletin board to make it interesting. I wish Melbourne the best of luck this week and this season because let's face it- they could win FOUR flags in a row and the wider population probably still wouldn't notice or care.

"I am being VERY sarcastic.
I hope Woewodin blows them away and the Pies belt the living crap out of the snow bunnies."
I personally think there are 3 great captains, one being Bucks, Hird, and Voss. They are also the 3 best players over the last 5 years.
Anyway lets move on.
Just having a crack at the Melb Trolls
BRING IT ON.

Sorry droche, pre-long weekend brain mush. I wasn't actually having a go, I was wondering if you WERE serious and maybe I just didn't get it (as it happens, I didn't!)
Back in my box. But my opinions about Melbourne stand.
Go pies- if passion stands for anything, we'll embarrass the Dees off the field.

I agree one hundred percent, except for the inclusion of King. King has not been showing enough at Willy to be included and we're more likely to take a forward then a half-back.droche 2004 wrote:Please note this post.
If Tarrant gets off good, if not he will be replaced with Buckley
If he does get off and can play, you would feel that Lokan is due for a spell (replaced by Bucks)
Rocca will play he has been training in secret. (Not a secret anymore)
Holland to replace McGough.
Also don’t be surprised is King is brought into the side to replace Swan who could do with a run for Willy.
Bucks should take Taz's position if Taz is not available. We need to throw a magic maker into the forward line. Bucks is that man.

Agreed, Mcgough should stay in the side, and be given mroe time by MM on the ground. He gets alot of clearences around the ground and in the middle. If he is dropped i rekon we will notice the drop in clearences. It's not like his rushed kicks go directly to an opposition player. They are often one and one contests, furhter down the ground or a Collingwood player who is expecting the rushed kick.
