We've been terrorised by an Eastern Brown snake for a week now It's made a home about 3 metres from our house in a crack in some concrete. We've had a snake catcher out, but they are unable to reach/find the snake under the concrete. We've been systematically filling the cracked concrete. Possibly to entomb it or make it uncomfortable so it may move on.

The other morning I was standing over it with shovel in hand but couldn't go through with it for fear. I sharpened my 5 pronged spear so maybe I can hit it from a distance. Scary things indeed.

We've headed to Melbourne for dog sitting duties for a couple of weeks, so we'll see if the prick is there on return.

OK, plan B, tip a couple of bottles of Kerosene in the crack where it's going in, wait a few minutes, then light it and GTF out of the road.

Need a plan 'C' at least. Plan 'B' is too close to our underground water tank. I did fill a couple of holes with expanding foam. Hoping the snake got a gob full!!

OK, Plan C, stick the garden hose under the slab and drown the MOFO.
