Out of reach for 2 reasons.

1. They need 10 r.p.o.

2. They don't have a Glenn Maxwell.

All oiut 171. I've been at the Palais this evening and just saw the score. Based on the technique on display where I was and what we've seen during this World Cup, I'm confident Steve Vai would bat at 4 for Sri Lanka.

Maxwell's innings covered over the atrocious top-order batting. Head, Warner, Inglis, Stoinis... Wow. Just flat-track bully shots.
And a stupid run out. Did they even talk about the running after the five mixups the previous game???

Watto was critical of the batters not "soaking up the pressure" early in the Oz innings. And he's hardly ever critical.

FTB Smith dodged a bullet. He woulda been destroyed by the sideways movement. Now, FTB's getting out plumb LBW to straight balls that do nothing. The ball that did Marsh almost did too much... Just clipping leg stump.

This is happening again and again. e.g. Stoinis's catch against Afghanistan, Dutchman's catch of Warner, ...

Need to start giving the benefit of the doubt to the fielding side, not the batsman.
