People sooner or later should give Melbourne credit as they have been playing great football for the majority of the year. They ran all over Fremantle in the last quarter which not many teams do over their.
Next week will give us a true indication of where we are at as a club. If we win next week we are a genuine contender for the finals and can cause damage if we make them. However if we lose then it will be an uphill battle.
Should be a sell out.

The Torres bounce is officially dead. You are walking alone now Fernando.

We will play finals! Win a few more on the trot and watch other teams start to shit themselves! Good to see scum kilda's run come to an end! I still think they are no bodies and will crash in the ladder part of the season! Do you know how long I have been waiting for that hack Gerhig to do another injury? He would have done one any other season!

I think Melbourne's win shows more about how Freo are taking things for granted this year rather than trying to make it happen.
Yeah JLC i see your praise for the dees... and with Bizzell i would totally agree. I sense their fragility though, even if they did win at the house of pain.

I'm not particularly optimistic. One thing Melbourne has shown is strong finishing. This means we can't go in with too many injured players or the'll finish all over the top of us.
Given that McGough cannot go a whole game and that Fraser, Lokyer and Burns are still a little underdone, this puts us in a precarious position. If Rocca plays his fitness will be suspect and if doesn't its still a blow- a lose/lose situation.
If added to all this Tarrant is suspended, then we are in real strife. I suppose we could try Presti and/or Lonie up forward and hope for the best. But if everything goes against us, ie. Rocca is really unfit and Tarrant is suspended then I suspect our best chance is to go defensive ie. flood and try and minimise the scoring. However this isn't so easy on the MCG.
Let's hope the Essendon Hawthorn reports are heard first. In that case there should be a large number of suspensiopns and the tribunal's blood lust may be satisfied.

Might be the unveiling of our new CHF - The Prestinator.
No, you're right, he'd be better down back otherwise his bitch Neitz would whine and whimper.
Please leave Cloke Senior in the back half though Mick.. pleassse.. he's back in form, don't stuff him up now!
Play Maxwell alongside Cam Cloke, hell bring in Kinnear or Walker or McKee and sacrifice them at CHF.. JUST NOT JAS CLOKE AGAIN.. he's learnt his lesson... don't put him back in the hole again... pllllleeeeeaaaassssse

Even though we are winning now, we are still playing shit, which is a good sign. If we can start playing well (i.e scoring over 100+ pts, win a game by 6gls+) then look out, we will cause some damage!
I reckon Taz will get off, I'd rest Pebbles because he won't be 80%, bring in Kinnear & sacrifice him at CHF. Who knows, he might pull off one of those very few & far between good games for the 'Pies.
Bucks will hopefully be back & Presti, I think Holland if he served all his suspension would play also.
