Even more importantly, during both games we had enormous personnel issues (at the Gabba, no recognised rucks) and at Marvel, all of Naicos, JDG, Bobby Hill, Moore were out. We played with minimal pressure.gurugeoff wrote:just read that Lions have beaten us the last 6 times. Is that a concern, or has it given us a lot to think about and adjust. Working in the garden atm, not used to the sun being out and getting a bit hot - hope that does not become a factor. It is back to 13 degrees one day next week.
I don't think either of our games against Brisbane this year have any relevance to what plays out tomorrow.

Sad ending though: 'The American retired in 1986, and died at the age of 40 in 1994 from carbon monoxide poisoning caused by an improperly installed pool heater.'

Reckon a lotta negative talk comes from scarred Pie-supporting journos! Makes me scared just listening to P. Ryan (podcast) saying he fears Harris Andrews will just ignore Frampton and do as he pleases.
Andrews was on Talking Finals this week. Said in Brissy's Tuesday "oppo review", they talked bout stopping Collingwood's fast movement from half-back.

Fox Footy was 13-13. So yeah when they have to pick a side they are going 50/50, but the talk is mostly all about Brisbane.K wrote:The Age: Collingwood 7-7 BrisbaneHaff wrote:Looks to me to be about 3:1 tipping against us. ...
