I thought we were lucky to be within 4 goals at qtr time.
Matera was leading cole to the ball but had a butterfingers night, even so got out 2 handballs that scored goals.and kicked one himself.
Luckily for cole he had the yips all night.
I think Cole would do well to not allow a small fwd first go at the footy next time.
20-34 is a good result for us as wet toast were very wasteful.

second term we get a lead by scoring 4 goals to 1 for the term but it sure wasnt pretty.
Ant went down with a buggered ankle and Johnno went off with a corky.

the team restructuring after Ant went of improved us immensely.
Guy,Cam and josh sharing the ruck and key fwd tall roles.

Guy showed that he is not just a tap ruckman,his around the ground work was impressive.

The keys to the win were hard working midfield performers Lika and Scotty burns plus some good defence from Clement,wakes and the fortunate Cole who could thank his lucky stars matera had the fumbles all night.

Cam Cloke again impressed as did his brother.
Leon popped in and out of the game, as did didak.

The most impressive aspects of the win were the second efforts ,tackling and chasing by our fwds when not in possession.
The most unimpressive was our system of attack.
I really think we are a better side when we dash it fwd and kick to the hot spot.
So many times we go back and fwd until we all get dizzy,commetti calls it playing rope a dope.
We refuse tio kick to a contest but in the end just kick it to an opposition on his own anyway.

I thought maxwell,swan and lokan had quiet nights,but hope we stick with them rather than go back to kinnear and willo.
