On SEN David King said collingwood are unable to match it with the toughtness of the Dees.

Dees he says are more blue coller then we are and more inclinded on pulling up the sleeves and putting in the hard tough work.

King say Dees are tougher then the Pies and a better midfield.

Says if its a heavy deck track then the Dees will go to work.

King also says the Pies only like good weather and still has not won a game in the wet this year not like the Dees.

King predicably tipped the Dees and says the Pies arent the best anymore and the chasing pack have over run us now and that we are in a way spooked by been hunted down.

If so, can't say I mind us being the underdog. I don't think McRae or the players will mind that either.

I am shocked how many Pies fans have no clue about football, let alone understand what historical and contemporary statistics mean. I laugh and ignore some losers on this site that personally abuse other posters for offering a different view to the Mass group think delusional bile that suggests we can actually beat Melbourne on Thursday night. One absolute dope thinks we have a clear game plan that allowed us to win fifteen games this year, despite football experts suggesting the narrow margins were more a case of luck than some undefined genius. But the poster who called me a village idiot for merely repeating what football experts are saying , is a known nasty who can’t deal with the issues, rather prefers to insult the messenger in a gutless
manner. Pathetic immaturity, but I am not surprised by these halfwits. But I hope and pray I am totally wrong and we beat Melbourne. But somehow my gut tells me we won’t and can’t .
I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for.

Oh turn it up, we all know you are a pretend character out of Geelong, a very minor comedian who comes on here and bases his whole persona on Jock out of the movie the Club, your a total fake, there is no Bertha, its all a big fake act, and yes, you are a village idiot, we only reply to humour you, thats all, you basically know nothing about football, we have one loss and you want to sack the coach, the Board, your the gutless one, hiding behind some RSL macho pretend Digger image, your a fake, not real, wea all know it.

I like taking everything away and just dealing with the facts:

- we don’t have a dominant forward line
- we have not stockpiled draft choices
- we haven’t drafted a trophy forward
- our midfield is slow and our greatest player of the last 15 years is approaching the end
- our backline is undersized
- we traded a two times all Australian ruckman
- our ruck division is made up of a player the swans didn’t want and an american.

And yet we wrapped up top 4, four weeks from the end, and coasted except when it mattered beating port away when they threw everything at us, and smashing Geelong in their elimination final. I’m very excited about the club and its leadership.
Sadly you go a bit far at times Hiss. Just my thoughts.
Lazza and Piesnchess and Dave and and and, I feel like they have become friends - because whilst I don’t always agree with what they say, I enjoy how they engage and keep the conversation going (because I’m pretty bored and can’t wait for Thursday).
But then perhaps I am wrong and maybe we should sack the coaching staff now after all.

^ I disagree about our forward line mate, ANY forward line consisting of Jamie, Jack Ginni, Bobby Hill, Checkers, McStay, McCreery, is pretty damn lethal when on song, throw in JDG, Crisp, Mitchell, Pendles, buzzing nearby, and its damn good one.

“Our midfield is slow”

I never ever subscribe to this. We’re not running the Stawell Gift. As we showed against Essendon, it’s ball movement and decision making that makes a midfield look fast.

I’m posting what is often put forward by external commentators and sometimes people here, and in an attempt to show how irrelevant some of those statements are when you consider the season we have had .

Agree with Mr Miyagi here. Fast ball movement is always quicker than outright leg speed. We have quality decision makers who can execute over time. That's our strength in the middle.
