Two Towners in VFL State Squad.

Brad Lloyd and Sam Cranage are the only two Williamstown players to make the initial VFL State Team squad.

The game, to be played against WA at Leederville Oval on June 19, is the first state game since the VFL defeated the SANFL two seasons ago.

The final 24 players will be selected on Monday 14th June.

Hopefully, the game will be broadcast back to Melbourne by ABC-TV.

Apparently, AFL rookies are allowed to play, but once they get promoted, they become ineligible.
