Raw Hammer wrote:We need to win 2 more to guarantee 1-2 finish because our percentage will fall under Brisbane. Melbourne will pass out percentage today after they demolish North.

Only chance of finishing 1 or 2 with just one win is defeating Brisbane. Fingers crossed Fremantle defeat the Lions today in Perth.

On form, it’s likely to be:

1. Melbourne
2. Brisbane
3. Collingwood
4. Port Adelaide

Royally cocked up our season the past two weeks.

A silver lining can often be found even in the darkest moments. For us, the silver lining is that Nick will now compulsorily get the rest he needed.
If he heals quickly enough for the Semi-Final, or if we make it to the Preliminary, he will be dynamite.

^ we have had injuries before (most of the season), and we have won games with minimal impact from N.Daicos. I don't think it's as bad as it may feel right now. With all the media attention N.Daicos has been receiving (good and bad), it may be a good thing for the team to work through this without him as a distraction. Win next week, and the hopelessness we feel will vanish - remember Geelong have lost 2 of their biggest names for a few weeks, and are not playing great, so we are a real chance of turnng this around.
Keep the faith. It's no time to throw in the towel.

Yes, I think we're all up to speed by now. That information was released well after Mr. Miyagi's post, which likely was speculation from one of the footy shows (which I am hesitant to trust).

It's fair to say there will be a bit of spite in our next game against Hawthorn...pity we have to wait until next year.

They are bottom 4 and all they wanted to do was injure pies players.

Werribee 11.4 to 4.8 half way through the third.

WHE looking like an old man. Cox tapping the ball to the Werribee mids and Ginni not looking too interested. No standouts selections.

44 point lead to Werribee now. And they do not have a single AFL player on their list!
Coiuld it be that some have been told to hold back a little, so they have a bit in the tank for 5 days time?
I seriously hope not

The feeling I have right now I can only compare to 02, 11 and 18. It feels like we just lost a grand final.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

Hawks are unsociable pricks.
