First year players and second year players can sometimes run out of steam (not having the full tank yet).

Is it worth giving Nick a week off before the finals? Depending on our ladder position.

28-40 to a 5-win team of kids is deplorable.
If we fall 20+ points down again, likely we finish 3-4, and get bundled out in straight sets by Carlton week 2.
Yeah, that’s how I feel right now.
Any danger WE come our breathing fire after half time??? It’s like this team can’t get themselves up without a loud crowd. News flash: 80% of teams play in front of small ish crowds. Manufacture your own spirit for once! Cos what you’re dishing up isn’t getting those in attendance fired up.

P.S. Stop Nick Daicos, stop Collingwood. The blueprint has been proven. Good luck, Nick…no pressure.

I can’t see us winning it this year, not on this current form.

Yes, we lost last week, it’s how we respond from here on that counts.
Last sentence is very trrue. Our response in the second half to a scare from 16th team is critical.
I am hoping that we play ourselves into form in these last two quarters. That is what we need to do. This team knows what it needs to do, it has proven this many times this year.

First thing to do is to tag Sicily. Blind Freddy can see he is killing us.

My worry is you serve that garbage up in a qualifying or preliminary final...its see you next year...I am starting to worry this side has gone into cruise mode and very bad and lazy habits are being allowed in.

3/4 of the team are very poor so far and the inability to take contested marks forward of centre is a major concern.
Howe has been good but that’s about it really. Maybe our lack of blooding young players (Carmichael, McCrae, Allan) is beginning to bite with Mitchell and Adams being sub par in clearances.
I’m still staggered that a natural goal kicker can’t get in the team.
Ginnivan would not have missed any of our first three sets shots.
