This is the one game I wish the Pies would win and yet its the one each year they are most likely to lose bar the Eagles being in the middle of unprecedented shocker of a season. For the love of God Collingwood just win this one for once could you?

Unfortunately the Eagles have a good recent record against us. Fortunately one of the main reasons, Gardiner is not there this time. His ruck dominance has killed us over the last couple years, however the tide has turned in that department. I believe you stop their engine room in Judd, Kerr and Cousins and we will win the game. The Pies by 3-4 goals.

we are on the way up
they are on the way down
the loss of Gardiner will hurt them
last time at the Dome when we played them he was BOG
we will wear them down
Cousins is out of form too

last year was at the dome and we got smashed in the first quarter and came back, got out to a 15 point lead early in the last only to give it up and lose the match.

This time, without gardiner, who was one of the main reasons we got smashed in the first quarter last time we should be a good chance.
We will rotate the ruck, which I must sy is starting to look like one of the best ruck divisions in the league, that will greatly help our chances in the midfield which is the key to supply our forwards, and stop the supply to matera up the other end.

Pies by 43 points!

Hmmm, i think we will win, and win comfortably!!

If Lica goes for a week- who will replace him? Is Shackleton a chance?

Well Cam .. u said the same about the Roos game, that we'd be thumped by 10 goals.

Hopefully being pessimistic is your superstition so that we can win. :)

How are my panty liners? what you run out of pants to sniff MMF?

Foreginer I believe Cam was referring (although I might be mistaken) to Shackletons chance of playing in place of Licuria.

Shacks won't play - its at TD. Too fast for him at this early stage.

We should win easily. Tarrant to kick 5, Rocca to kick 4 and return to form. Richards vs Cox should be a good battle as we, once again, may have the rucking upper hand. The only trouble is Embley. I haven't seen much of West Coast this season but for much of last season he was a gun. He, Judd and Gardiner were the reasons we lost last year. Gardiner is gone for the year and Judd is the only other hurdle. I don't see Cousins as a BIG threat as whilst he gets the ball, he is not the player to really hurt us infront of the big sticks and we can go head-to-head with him as Burnsy, Woey and Licca (if he plays) will all win as many possestions as he will. Ben Johnson on Judd, as he can run all day, has a will to win, and can win his own ball.

We'll win easy. Just keep Judd and Embley quiet and we'll be fine.
