I get the feeling the coaching panel want to find a reason to debut Harrison.
He’s a high pressure small forward who gets a bit of the footy. He’s super quick, evasive and has some good tackle numbers in the VFL. He’s a bit slight but if Ginnivan was to miss, I reckon Harrison gets the nod as his replacement.

I guarantee every club has a revolving door of players who are less than perfect coming into Winter. The only difference is that Fly chooses to be refreshingly transparent and honest and declare it, while other coaches continue with the cloak and dagger kiddies games.90 nice wrote:Yep good old flu fridays.
We could have a segment on which players have it every friday.
Also i notice that theres always 2-3 players missing training sessions.
The media latch onto it then automatically they are in doubt for the next match.
Yes, although McRae acknowledged Cameron would be part of the 23.Take_a_Screamer wrote:Latest from AFL website - side is unchanged

Cameron will either come into the 22 or is tactical sub as a minimum.
Obviously if anyone is forced to miss from illness, then MacRae, McInnes and Harrison would fill those gaps.

MY Veteran Magpies scenario on this huge match. - Ist qtr, Bluebellies come out breathing fire, copped so much shit, as has Voss, will kick first 2-3 goals, dominate, but late in qtr, Ginnivan snaps one, qtr time. 2nd qtr, Bluescum maniac play starts to wane, cannot keep it up, Magpies get more of the ball, we snap a couple of magic goals. one from Daicos. Caaaarlton have slight lead at half time. 3rd Qtr, we kick first two snags, start to get our act together , Blues start fading, we lead by 2 goals 3/4 time. Last qtr, as we have done so often, we run these bastards off their feet. swamp them, mass attacks, they fail to score a goal, we run out winners by 31 points. Thats my take. !
Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Not sure on quarter 3 thats when we go too zzzzz.
Haf time we have a slight trail.
3rd quarter we are more dour and not a hell of alot of scoring happens both teams.
Like it early in the final quarter we kick those goals from chains.
But for mine i love a good solid start.
its sets the tone for the match.
We tend to give up the first goal then we kick the next and the next at the start.
Still think quarter 3 is our least productive.
We kind of plan for quarter 4 in our quarter 2 then sit back in the third.
We are a book end team good starters and strong finishers.
Need to work on our q2 and q3.

I would honestly say that at this stage the Gawn/Grundy combo are better.90 nice wrote:How does the Cox Cameron ruck combo compares and stacks up against the Gawn and Grundy combo.
