F. Elliot Mihocek Ginnivan

Rucks: Frampton Pendlebury Mitchell

I'm not sure why some want Markov dropped. Sure, his disposal skills lack some polish, but he is a good size and is quick. I thought he did a pretty good job against the Saints.

Outs: Wilson (om), Adams (sus), McStay (inj), Murphy (inj)

Ins: Ruscoe, Kreuger, De Goey, Macrae/Allen (sub)

I thought Markov was interesting.
I liked his attack on the ball.
He missed targets but we will wait and see if this is the norm

A Bold prediction, if, IF, we can defeat the Dons, who are rampant, with all the senior players we have out, against all odds, if we can do it, then when we get them all back, we are going to be one hell of a challenge for the Premiership,in my humble opinion.

Agree the key is to keep on winning any which way all the while with this shuffling the decks and cards around
The old saying the show goes on.
As long as we keep winning.
I think we are better equipped these days when it comes to injuries and players out in knowledge that we have faith that the replacement player can be more then capable of filling and doing the job just as well.
Depth of talent.
This is what premiership teams are all about.
This what makes premiership teams.
By the way a win on Anzac Day and we get through unscathed we will have to then go on a win it this year.

Just to see it written I think adds so much weight to the argument, we are missing: Lipinski, McStay, Adams, Cameron, Murphy and Cox.

All important to our structure and game style, there are others of course but when available these six are all in our best 22.
In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away

Markov was fine ( for a last minute addition onto the list ) and he’s going to be important against the Bombers because him holding down a back six position this week means players like Naicos and Crisp can spend more time further up the ground replacing Adams minutes in midfield.
Crisis creates opportunity. The easiest way to see the young blokes or untried players get a chance in the seniors, is to have a few injuries in the early part of the season. The club will learn a heap about our back up stocks in the coming weeks and hopefully it will hold us in good stead after the bye. Win, lose or draw this week, the coaches are going to gain a lot of benefit from the ANZAC day match. Big stage, depth tested and inexperience across the ground. That’s when you learn the most about your playing list.
Bring it on.

Where’s Hoskin - Elliot. In or out ?
Reckon Allen has already passed Carmichael by. Allen may yet be a smokie but he didn’t play at all on the weekend ( possibly Covid related )

Nice confidence.

2nd place Essendon to play Collingwood with forced key changes in an already depleted side.

A win in this game will be one to savor.
