ARGH! Give Mullins the game time of Shaw and he will be a far better contributer.

Jeez I'm so angry at the moment... How MM gets away with such ridiculously sh*tty selection is beyond me. Shaw is this close to being finished as a player, while O'bree is finally regaining some form. So what do we do, drop O'bree.

Pathetic. I can't believe the media is letting him get away with this garbage. Last week we won despite almost all MM has been doing this year to play players out of their positions and ruin their confidence. If this theory of "rounding off players' defensive game' worked at all, why aren't other coaches adopting it? BECAUSE ITS A LOAD OF TRIPE!

McG in the forward pocket.
Lonie on a Ruckman at FF.
Shaw on the ground at all.
J. Cloke in the forward line.
Nixon/Mullins given 10 minutes of game time in 2 matches.
Wakelin on the bench whilst our defense was being swamped.

Absolute nonsense coaching, not creative, not clever, not modern. Just Crap.

Honestly this is the last straw for me... I'm so sick of pointless and damaging selection/positioning policy

I would have thought that Shaw and either Lokan or Davis would have been dropped. I'm not too surprised about Mullins, but Walker has been OK over the past few weeks. Let's hope that O'Bree's injury isn't too serious.

Current weather forcast for Sat is shower or 2. If Staurday night is wet, I expect sides to line up as is with C. Cloke on Rocca at CHB. If it clears, then probably both Porter and Walker will be included with McKernan as occasional 3rd tall in forward line opposed by Walker.

O'Bree is interesting. Obviously no longer considered a forward option and Lockyer is preferred as rover. Could this signal O'bree as a trade prospect? If lockyer maintains his fitness etc. where would you play O'bree?

While he is not a superstar, O'bree is infinitely better than Shaw anywhere on the ground.

Also, does anyone else find it interesting that during the years where we were successful and MM was doing well as a coach, there was none of this 'rounding of the players' game' jibberish.

What lost us the grand final was a combination of lack of heart, too many youngsters, and MM playing around with the squad (to try and make up for Rocca) till the players didn't know what they were doing in their positions.

We weren't 'broke' up till the grandfinal, yet MM decided that he had to try and fix things using these radical new tactics (which have failed miserably) and some of the players have been shadows of themselves in the 2002/3 seasons because of it.

Back to Basics MM, give the players a chance to play.

Not sure if your trying to be funny, but the game is at Telstra Dome, so weather won't come into play as the ROOF will be shut!

... I don't think he does if for personal reasons, simply because he believes some players have more talent than others and thus need more chances...

Though his selection is definitely one of the things pissing me off... anyway thats all im going to say on the issue i'm too angry to be coherent at the moment.

calm down mate. Do what Jimmy Hendrix would do.
Micky often just throws up the names and where they fall on the whiteboard, that is where he plays the players.
Now known as the Wakelin principle.
