Good win to the girls.

Another couple of goals would have been good but kept Feo goalless which boosted percentage.

Pies 4.8.32 defeated Freo 0.3.3

Pies now 3rd on the ladder with games against North and Brisbane to come.

First game I was able to watch properly in this new season. I still prefer a summer/early year season.

But it was a very good win. Freo were once a flag fancy. Now they are second last.

The commentary was awful I gotta say. Hard job I know. But trying to sell the game like it was a good contest is ridiculous. Freo had zero points going into the 4th quarter. This was not a close or exciting game of footy. To say that it "was all Freo" when they hadnt even scored a point yet is embarrassing.

Great to get a big win, but awful for the competition so see a team go goalless, especially on its home deck. Why have Freo dropped so badly?

Can Collingwood go all the way? I felt more interested and like I had more knowledge when I was watching the Jan-March season.

Freo did lose 2 of their best players to expansion clubs and another 2 to injury but they have been disappointing this season.

Their aggression was one of their strong points - they liked to get in the oppositions faces - they haven't had that his year & other teams have worked to counteract it.

Looked clumsy but never was it intensional.
