We should win, and win well. We can win the next 3 and then give the shakey Swans a big scare.
Lokan on McLeod as he did well last time, diito with Cloke on Carey. I can feel a bit of confidence and positivity spreading around the BB. Once again, Richards will be up against an inexperianced ruckman (Hudson) with no Biglands. Although Clarke is playing, Richards will easily out play him around the ground. Pies by 24 points.

However, if they put C.Cloke in the ruck(after a promising performance in Williamstown he should be in), it might help Stretch out a little and if they decide to put Rocca in the ruck we should win the ruck area's and around the ground. Depending who goes out if Walker is still in, he might rotate around as well to help Stretch out. Should be interesting what Malthouse does! But we have the spirit and the men to win this one.

I should clarify. With the current magpie list, considering we need LIca, Obree to run, possibly tag McCloud...that leaves the best match-up as Lonie on Ricciuto. Can Lonie match him? Probably not...but we cant waster woey or Lica as run-with players, and we can't leave ricciuto untagged. At least Lonie can take him when he moves forward.Magpie Mustafa wrote:Shades wrote:And i think only Lonie has the strength and speed to go with Ricciuto.
You're kidding right? Ricciuto would easily beat Lonie in a one-one situation any day.

Johncock is a danger and i think Johnson would have to play on him. Clarke will be dangerous in the ruck and Richards will need to play well again this week to curb his influence. If C.Cloke is bought back in, he will give assistance to Richards in the ruck and allow Richards to rest down forward and provide another target.

P_P4E I agree with you on Johncock he is very fast and elusive and Johnno will have to show a bit.
Does anyone know the progress of Tarks ? He would be handy to have in the absence of Bucks if he can get form back quickly he is a long and accurate kick and would be great to have both him and Burns in the midfield together again. Tarks was very useful in kickouts and as a link man - great vision and rare to see him turn a ball over.
C2 is a good single grab mark and that sort of skill would be good to utilise anywhere but I haven't seen him enough to know where he should be if he gets the nod this week. Just hope Williams if played can make an impact I would like to see him down back again where he was very useful in the past. He do not a forward make.

Yeah Williams has struggled but he needs a specific role like he had when he first came on board. How can we play team football when every week there is someone new lining up forward and back. Successful moves are made when players can instinctively know that player x will be leading or running past. Just hasn't been the case this year.
What's the make on Lokan up front too ... the guy has some dash but gets plonked in the pocket. He seems to have the build for a midfielder and would complement a crash and dash out of the centre type play.
I am a big wrap for Guy though he has really stood up to the task of delivering effective taps in the ruck. It's all very well and good to get the hitouts but if they land in the oppositions hands they are wasted.
Let's hope too that the umps don't have crow eyes all night. I reckon Tarrant should be protected more he was wearing defender necklaces all night against StK. and didn't crack it for a free. Man 14-4 at 3/4 time with the possesion about 50/50. Then comes the inevitable even-up in the last.

and no CQ- i dont think that we will win every week!, thats stupid. I think we will win this week because we are better than them, and we are ready for a big win. I'm not just questioning you because of this week, but because of your constant bitching about how crap we are! - it even went on last year. You're obviously not as commited to the club as i am - it's obvious. I dont think i've heard ypu say anything encouraging about the club. I'm over it - i'm not even gunna bother anymore.

True. But he isn't the best leap in the comp. Streach will easily jump over him.Joel wrote:J26, Clark is no pushover, he is number 3 in hit outs this year.
Williams must be dumped. He is a nervous wreck. Same with Benny Kinnear. Bring Cam Cloke in. He has been good so far and needs another go. As for Lokan, he does show dash, but at times runs too far and scrambles the kick. He has got better but still has a tendancy to mess up.Yeah Williams has struggled but he needs a specific role like he had when he first came on board.
