Shades, a few of us here, Cam of particular note have been pushing for Didak to run through the midfield, and if anything I don't think Adelaide are lightning quick through the middle and this is the ideal opportunity to give him a run and see what comes of it.

Stenglein will likely go to Woey and try to drag him deep in defence, if they can work the match ups right, and I mean really nail them, I am not concerned that the Crows midfield can hurt us as much as say St.Kilda, Brisbane, even North the following week.

The main key is shut down Macleod, Riccioto, Johncock tends to brings there confidence up and deter the confidence of Carey early on in the game. Cloke did a very good job on Carey last year, he got into him early and it killed him. It's all about confidence. We do have a chance to win this game. I believe Lokan played on Macleod once and did a good job on shutting him down. Lokan was unfortunately concussed last week and it did take it out of his performance as it does to anyone who is concussed. I have not been the biggest fan of Lokan but he has stepped up this year and I believe he has the ablilty to shut down a macleod, he has the pace and agility to go step by step with macleod. I don't know whether Lonie could realy play as a tagger maybe on macleod or riccioto however you spell it. Or if one of them is killing us just get Licca as a tagger, because Licca plays best as a tagger because not only can he shut down a player but he can stack up lots of possessions that establishes a completeness in a tagger. Or even Ben Johnson has been outstanding. Our ruck should be strengthened even more if Cameron Cloke comes in. He has been trying very hard in the reserves and even when he was playing in the seniors he seemed to shine some light and Stretch, despite his light frame, has been great in the centre and it's all crucial about the centre clearances, especially with Collingwood. In the 3rd quarter of the saints game, it prooved how essential centre clearances was, when we started getting them, collingwood are really a threat for any team. Cloke coming in would help the tall forward set-up. I think Kinnear and Andrew Williams will probably be replaced by Cloke and Shaw, who has gained some confidence back from the reserves. The question is who should go in the centre to get the centre clearances? McGough, has been good getting in and under providing 2nd and 3rd efforts. Johnson, woey, licca, would provide a great strength to the midfield component. I don't think Didak has proven himself to be a midfielder yet because he is not as involved into the game, but then again, he might just need to experience the game in the midfield whilst the opportunity still arises since bux, burns, lockyr are out. He doesn't get the bal as much as he should, but he is carefullly watched by many oppositions because they know he's a talent, he just needs to gain more confidence and just run like crazy over the field wanting to get the ball!! he would be good as a midfilder because we are lacking class in the delivery to the forwardline and that's why we don't have the little crummers doing there job and the big boys because of the disposal. but after all that... we should win this game. If not, it's another game for the inexperienced, and they can only keep improving with each game they are exposed to. 8)

GO PIES!

We have been improving and I think we are a huge chance this week.
I think our midfield is the key this week and needs to stand up with the likes of Riccuito, Mc Leod and Steinglein. Woey and Lica are coming into some form and Burnsie said on the Locker Room ( Sunday night ) that he was fit and that it comes down to ball work this week at training. Here is hoping, he is hugely under rated and we really do miss his in and under play.
Johnno with his awesome form will be important in our run off half back and the likes of Swan and Cole also.
Rocca and Tarrant need to stand up and kick goals between them because I don't think we can get enough goals without them firing.
Ruck wise I hope Josh is back not only to work with Richards in the ruck but to be an extra target in the forward line for other options.

Looking forward to Friday night and can't wait to cheer on the boys!

Daks don't worry about CQ the boys will prove her wrong.

luv jess

Play Rocca from the goal square and Tarrant running rampant up the ground.

Shut down McLeod and Roo and we win. If they get a sniff of confidence Licuria and Woe need to be right on their game with support from O'Bree and McG. Midfield is they key, kick long to the goal mouth, no piss farting around when we have had trouble hitting targets and running to open spaces.

Davis and Didak need to fire early.

Also Johncock is a worry - who will mind him? Very dangerous player.

I am MPF in disguise.
On paper we should go very close this week. But have we actually lost the art of winning?

my allegiance to the pies eh?

oh so youre more committed than me because you are ridiculously delusional and are 'confident we will win' every goddam week.
in case you didnt notice we're 16th! out of 16! we're crap!

no see the difference between you and I is that I am realistic and you are not.

Doesn't make you a better supporter than me.

As for MPF, hes allowed to have his opinion, just because it isn't the same as yours, its no reason to condemn him. or me for that matter.

Anyway while were on the subject of MPF, yes of course its him in disguise. I've been registered here for nearly four years waiting to unfurl the all deadly MPF! I think that deserves one of my all favourite symbols - there u go!

You're kidding right? Ricciuto would easily beat Lonie in a one-one situation any day.
