Loudest I've heard was when Starc dismissed Brendan McCullum in the 2015 World Cup Final.FrankieGoesToCollingwood wrote:Ginni's opening goal resulted in probably the loudest roar I've ever heard at the G. Would love to know what that read on the decibel meter

Was anybody else missing the excitement of either another close game or a thrashing on Saturday? Just a comfortable lead for the entire game was a little boring for me after all the close games we've witnessed this year. There was no adrenaline rush. Must admit to feeling deflated after the siren. Happy, but....

The 2018 & 2002 GF's says hello, so to the 2007 & 2019 Prelim finals. So to the 1994 Elimination Final and it can go on forever.....maurs64 wrote:Was anybody else missing the excitement of either another close game or a thrashing on Saturday? I wanted 40+ for a nice collect, the 9 points in a row destroyed me. I haven't had a drink in almost 3 years but woke up feeling hungover after the game, very strang.maurs64 wrote:Was anybody else missing the excitement of either another close game or a thrashing on Saturday? I love the idea of Cox inside 50, but he must be on the move to avoid being out bustled in a marking contest.90 nice wrote:Cox like him just parked in the forward 50.
Another forward target and just do rucking in the F50.
Cox just have him in the goal square. And just like 15mtrs from goals.
Let the rest of the ruck work with Cameron and like Moore if its down back.
I can envisage Ash Johnson using Cox as a step ladder as he takes the Mark of the 21st Century standing on Mason's head.

Perhaps that’s the secret weapon. Ash to kick 16 goals as Cox gives him the two handed stepladder, forcing the AFL to change the rules in 2023.warburton lad wrote:I love the idea of Cox inside 50, but he must be on the move to avoid being out bustled in a marking contest.90 nice wrote:Cox like him just parked in the forward 50.

Yeah, I noticed the lack of excitement after the game. Having had so many wins that ended on incredible highs, it was lacking atmosphere at the final siren. Having said that, I'd rather a big lead and a higher probability of victory rather than a close finish where victory is not assured and we get pipped in the end (as the cats did to us).maurs64 wrote:Was anybody else missing the excitement of either another close game or a thrashing on Saturday? I find your lack of faith disturbing
So we kicked 11-13 on Saturday and being the dominant side for the game
That’s 24 scoring shot s
Given we amass simalar amount of shots against a fierce competitor 15 is possible but gee this is going to be a big win if they pull it off
That said I still give them a big chance

I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right
