Dunno...maybe coz she got hair like the Predator?maurs64 wrote:Can anyone tell me why Frederick gets a game? She can't mark, can't kick. She's not great in the ruck either. Shouldn't have recruited her, but drafted a young tall instead. Look at Carlton's ruck, she's fantastic. And is big enough to be a headache down forward!

Agree Sabrina has been disappointing.
Only one mark, doesn’t offer much of a target and just gets in the way sometimes. Did a couple of good things but not enough.
Tonight Moody has been much better in the ruck for Carlton.

Yeah I share the concerns around Fredericks. Am yet to see much from her.
Went along last night, smallish crowd (around 4,000 I think). Thursday night is a crappy time, would have been much better on a Sat arvo.
Bit of mayhem around us as the crowd (mostly young girls!) spotted Ginni sitting behind me ! Good to see some of the senior boys get out there and support the women.
Always good to beat the Blooooos...

"Against Carlton in the season opener, the Pies controlled the territory through forward pressure and a well set-up defensive line. While the Blues won the tackle count 66-60, Collingwood laid a whopping 20 tackles inside 50, led by Eliza James and Chloe Molloy who each registered six."

Was a tough game.
Second quarter was only real time we or any team scored any thing all on the back of good work from Ruby and Chloe molloy also Tarni Brown.
The last 2 quaters though was a bit of a snooze fest.
Only time i thought the Blues had us was 2 mins in when they kicked the first goal.
Surpise to see Moody for Carlton not feature in the votes thought she was the Blues best player only one that stood up to Collingwood.
I think Evans Collingwood player was reported for a sling tackle and maybe looked at by the MRO and could cost her 1 weeks suspension. The tackle will be looked at too.
Apart from that a hard game but Collingwood had the game done by half time.
Need to work on clearences.
Was around 2-3k at Ikon park in wettish conditions.
