A couple in my black book for today.
Geelong Race 7 - Heroic Chief - will be around the 8/1 mark, he's second up after a spell and the extra distance here will suit him today.
Pinjarra Race 8 - There's A Thought - 12/1, had no luck last start and is a solid E/W chance in this. I like the jockey change with Donga taking over.

He should make amends on Saturday in the Sires Produce. 5/1K wrote:Aha... Thanks for the info, Skids...
And about the Karrakatta Plate... I went to put bets on Kostya's Crown for win and place. Tech problems! Couldn't get into my account in time! Couldn't place the bets.
Then... Kostya's Crown runs 4th. (The fave stormed home for victory.)
So saved some money I guess.

3rd, paid $3 for the place.
Mates horse won on debut at Geraldton on Friday. Dream To Me, she paid $5 and the boys had some very big wagers on her.
I lkie Willie Pikes ride in the 3rd at Kembla today.
Cushy, paying nice each way odds and Pikey is riding in some great form lately.

Grubs horse, Dream To Me going around again tomorrow.
She looked very smart in her debut win, albeit against a pretty average bunch.
Replay here - https://cris.rwwa.com.au/horse.aspx?horse=5282265
She meets a slightly stronger field, but there's no obvious stand out amongst them. She should go very close to notching her second win and I'm expecting her to be about the 4/1 mark again.

Well I've done what I said I wouldn't.... gone into another horse.
He's called - The Knight. He'll be racing over 1900m at Kilcoy in a few weeks. All Jeed Up will be in a 1500 on the same day.
Kelly doesn't know yet so, mums the word.... I might tell her when we're at the Casino for my birthday next week and she's drunk and loving sober Paul on his birthday.

Both running over 1500m. The Knight (Bruce) in race 4 and All Jeed Up (Jimmy) in race 5.
We should get some good odds about Bruce and Jimmy will probably be the roughest in the race. He's been training really well, just needs to bring it to the races.
Both horses loving life in their big yards at Nanango with Nicole Vuille. She's part of Freedom Equine Movement, you can check them out on FB. Love the way they go about business and the way they care for the horses.

Jimmy races at Gympie, he's 10/1, on Saturday.
Bruce runs in the last on Sunday at the Sunshine Coast, no price as yet.
The stable also has another one running at the Sunny Coast on Sunday. Barnsbury recently ran a handy third over 870m. The 1000m will suit and she'll have a tongue tie added. She got her tongue over the bit last start, and would have finished much closer to the winner if she hadn't choked down.

Well that's the end of Jimmy's career as a racehorse. He just doesn't want to race. Loves training and running around with the other horses at the stable, hates racing.
Going to a new home https://maryvalleyequinetrainingcentre. ... eet-naree/
The vet had to check him after the run today. 47 lengths from.the winner of a pretty average field isn't ideal. He loved him, showed him to his wife and she wanted to buy him on the spot.
The Knight @ Sunny Coast, 50/1 in the last. He doesn't mind a contest

Terrible track in the cup. If it was a TAB meeting it would have been abandoned. Bruce copped a wad of mud straight in the eye not long after leaving the gates and that was it, he spat the chewy.
Running in Race 9 @ Gatton tomorrow. Drawn a good gate and I've had a little E/W on him @ 18/1... with no confidence at all . I am having a good run at the minute though so here's hoping it lasts another day!!
