Magnificent effort at the end by WHE - it was a beautiful thing to see how badly he wanted that goal and how hard he went at the contest.

I never thought Trey would make it.
I think he will.
Great effort by our backs.
I thought Cox and darcy did ok.
Gee Witts is good.
How did we ever get rid of him for a relative low trade pick

Massive win in the ugliest of greasy games. That was all about a refusal to lose. Exposed, what's looking like a serious knee to Moore (fingers crossed), and midfield well below par. And yet, a win.

Nick Daics a mile above the rest, with help from Coxy, brother Daics, Checkers, our backline scrappers and Ginni. The beaten mids found the 15 minutes we needed.

Ugly. But this is a team with something about it, despite the midfield being off the pace, and vile media scum bags trying to bring a young bloke down to get at the club. Go eff yourselves, you pieces of filth.

Edit: I should add that aside from Nick Daics, Coxy is the one who kept us in that game.

In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Just a thought, but after what we've seen already, how about Josh and Nick Daicos as future captains of this club?

Another close win for the boys.

It’s a great sign we’re grinding out wins like this on numerous occasions. Bodes well going forward.

Ruscoe & McCreery were quiet

Jeez - quick to lock the game thread. How about you jump on the Jordy thread with the same haste and wrap that one up…???

Pretty average game of footy but I think speaks to how good we can be (injuries pending…). To get the points in that game and have such little contribution from the older cohort over the 4 quarters tells me there is plenty of capacity.

I imagine 20 degrees, 80 percent humidity and a heavy 8 track sapped their energy a bit.

Hopefully Darcy a hyper extension and not something more sinister.
It's never as good/nor bad as it seems...

I don't think Moores injury will be as bad as some are anticipating.

What a ride it’s been this season. 6 consecutive wins and counting.

Last year, we won 6 games for the WHOLE season.

We escaped with one tonight folks and thank the Gods we met our match in the Gold Coast when it comes to wasting goal scoring opportunities.

Outside the final 10 minutes when we finally looked liked the side we've come to expect this was a pretty average performance from both teams I thought.

As they say though good sides just find a way to win the close ones so we'll take the 4pts and run.

Now we need to get on a plane and get the hell out of this shit hole of a ground.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!
