Saints by 10 points. We'll give it a big shake but Gherig will be the key.

*Will post more later*

Maybe we should forfeit...... well at least that way we get no injuries.

It was only a couple of years ago that StKilda practically flooded the entire game against us at Colonial to save face and avoid a heavy defeat. In the end we still thumped them anyway.

StKilda are definately up and about at the moment but one of these weeks they are due for a downer. If we play four quarters instead of 20 minutes of football then anything is possible.

One thing is for sure i hope Malthouse and the players don't think like 90% of this thread.

The Torres bounce is officially dead. You are walking alone now Fernando.

We have no speed or class in the midfield without Buckley, Burns, Lockyer, Fraser.

We lack options without Presti.

We cannoy play Telstra Dome anymore (too slow to move the ball, slow legs).

Poor disposal at TD kills you on the rebound.

We are not winning it out of the middle (at TD, it's like the SCG in this regards - see Collingwood vs Fremantle this year: we were slaughtered in the second quarter).

Tarrant and Rocca play TD well (Tarrant is not good at teh MCG unless he is playing upfield), but he is still struggling for fitness and Penny is in career best form.

We now lack a tagging option in Holland.

They should, and I believe will, smash us.

The prospect of losing to carlton didn't seem to stir our emotions, why should this week be any different? And without any real class players left on the field (my GOD look at our injury list - un-f*ckin'-believable), we will lose by a minimum of 36 points.

We are not shot, we have not hit rock bottom we had a shite game on Sunday but weren't the majority of us somewhat pleased with our performance against Dons & Port? We didn't win those games but we played better footy than we did against Freo, granted we still need to improve in all areas.

Saints have won 11 games straight now incl Wizz fizz cup. They are not used to winning, nor winning that consistently and are coming off a WA trip. I don't look through rose coloured glasses I'm just trying to be positive and supportive for my team.

Let's be really loud and proud Sat night and get behind the boys. They need our support and they do hear us. If the boys have a red hot go, then we are a chance of winning this game.

Penny aint that good - It sure helps when you have midfielders dropping back and helping you out.

MacGuire has been impressive.
