Pre match: COLLINGWOOD v Saints - all comments here...

Post by MargOZ »

Well, people are already talking about this weeks game so thought it was worth starting this thread early (and that way we can already try and forget about last weekend's game!!!).

No doubt the Saints will be favourites but I still have a good feeling about this one - or is that just wishful thinking??????

What's everyone's thoughts?

GO PIES!

Saints by 42 points.
Most of my favourite bands start with "M" - Mars Volta, Mastodon, Megadeth, Metallica, Midnight Oil, Misfits...except King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard ~

Can go either way:

We can lose by 100 points, or we can really put in a huge effort and lose by 3 goals

Saints by 60+ points and Gehrig to kick 8+.

Hawks to win by miles in Tassie and the Pies to be 1 game clear on the bottom.

Schwab will be happy as the press will be hot on MM and he will finally crack.

Although I hate to say it, not even a supreme optimist could see us getting over the line against the Saints.

A very ugly belting I think (hopefully not though) ???

i just hope we can actually hit targets this week.

As long as they dont play as badly as last week.

We can win if we can move the ball in quicker and win the clearances. We have a good recent record against them

The Saints may not yet be as good as some people think they are but we have PROVEN to be a helluva lot worse than we thought we were.

The last 3 weeks have seen much improved effort but little else. We are still a directionless rabble.

For us to win, we would have to take a quantum leap forward in the space of a week and/or the Saints go backwards big time.

I'd like to see it happen but in all honesty I can't see it happening.

Best chance I suspect is to spend the week spreading new runours and scandals in the media.

This game will either be FEAST or FAMON...depends on which way you look at it.
Some how I recon that BOTTOM of the ladder,MIGHT just give TOP of the ladder a run for their money.
Dont know whose showing the game yet,BUT wait and see,I have a feeling in the old walking stick.

Gehrig will kick more goals than our total score, making us hate the WCE even more for not trading him to us at the end of 2000.

Look, the saints have been up for a while. 7-0, plus Wizard Cup and they are coming back from Perth. Plus they haven't beaten us since 98. We will come out a different side this week. Our season is just about shot, the media are writing us off, don't be suprised if this is a close game and we pinch it cause we can. The pressure is on, the players have to respond!

Who tipped Richmond against the Swans on Sunday?

Who tipped the pies against port in the final in 2002? What chance did we give us back then? Backs to the wall is our speciality.

I don't think it's cut and dried....we have a bridge to gap but it's not impossible (close to it, but not impossible).
My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die.

We are going to win by 77 points because the match is the day before my birthday and 3 days after Jarrod Molloy's birthday :D:D:D
