Half the world is unvaccinated, new variants are going to keep coming.

Just follow the health advice (when it makes sense), get your second booster when you can and get on with life. It's going to be with us for a fair while yet.

What partisan tripe.

Who caused Victoria's second lockdown which lasted for 111 days?

Especially given they’ve blamed the Feds for State failures and their responsibilities.

But these same Twitter morons thought the Feds funded state fire services so it’s always best to ignore them.

This summer beat the shit out of last summer.

No bullshit snap border closures , minimal restrictions, people could get on with life and enjoy summer.

BTW, you keep saying how things have been badly managed over summer because people have died, that's great being critical but I'm yet to see you offer up a cogent alternative.

Oh, side thought, did anyone realise that the $200m quarantine centre in Mickleham opened in February?

There is a big push. Healthy people are being forced to isolate because a family member has tested positive which is contributing to staff shortages in many sectors.

Andrews has said the rules are being reviewed but the timing coming into winter is shit.

Many of the current restrictions are well past their use by date.

Masks for some primary school kids
Hospitality having to check vaccination status
Retail staff required to wear masks
Etc

Surely we've reached the stage where these last few mandated restrictions can be removed and personal responsibility can take over.

As much as I agree with removing restrictions, using case numbers as justification is ludicrous. Reported case numbers are just the tip of the iceberg as the only people getting tested are those who have to.

Once you remove restrictions, less people will get tested so case numbers go down more and become even less reflective of the number of actual infections.

When we started living with Covid they said the Case Numbers is not something to look at instead of looking how many People are in Hospital
