Oh yeah linguini arms Noble who loves a busy start to a game then goes missing for 2.5 quarters, how about winning a one on one critical marking contest against Rioli next time! Frauds.

Agree totally RB. I think Noble is a rough cut gem. Like any gem, his qualitities shine when he is placed in a position such that these qualities are complemented. His speed, courage, and skills with the ball are fantastic. Leppa needs to keep developing how Noble weaves into our defensive structure. His aggressive style is just what we need to bounce out of our D50, in synergy with IQ.RudeBoy wrote:I
Btw, I'm not sure why Noble cops so much flak. Sure, he is very lightly built and often gets beaten by far bigger opponents, but he reads the play very well, has excellent skills and plays with courage. There would be 4 or 5 I'd drop before Noble....just saying.

I also think that our defensive system has been changed under the new coaching systems. We are probably refashioning the interconnection between the mids and the defenders. When we had the ultra defensive game style, the mids and defenders combined to suppress opposition scoring as a priority. This has now been overturned. The mids and the defence are now actively seeking fast, aggressive ball movement forward. Our defenders are not yet fully accustomed to his new game style at an AFL level. I think our defensive systems are being reconfigured, and therefore some performances may initially appear to be unexpectedly below standardRudeBoy wrote:I expect Moore to be close to BOG once Roughead returns.
