A very Good win. 2 zip and over 100 points ,2 weeks in a row.A big spread of goal kickers and room for HUGE improvement. Lots of forward fumbling and we probably should have had 3 or 4 more goals. It's not the place to criticise ,but Madgen is just scary when he goes near or gets the ball. At least 3 times I saw him pull the ball in and just lay there looking up at the umpire.I think some of his team mates just pulled the ball out of his hands before a free was give. Maynard in Madgen out.And Tyler Brown looked like a kid who knows his senior career at Collingwood is over. He did get a few touches in the last qtr but his first 3 were terrible.Brown out. Mc Guiness, Bianco, McRae, Poulter, Ruscoe, Harrison any of these surely must be better. Anyway.I'm ecstatic with our 2nd win.Top of the ladder I believe. We'll take that.

With the Swans and Blues also enjoying a 2-0 start, it's nice to see us above them on the ladder - AND with a 141.3 percentage. :D

Winning is great but this year is development and is going well. Hopefully everyone will be as calm when we lose

That's a beautiful Ladder alright, long may it remain that way.

Saw the cats last night and think we can get them, they were smashed after the first quarter, if not for number 45 getting more scraps than a seagull they would have been flogged.

Shame about Krueger, but 'injury prone' was the knock from any cats fan I know...struggles to stay on the park.

Listened on the radio so will await the replay, but was Brown really that bad? A shame, as I thought he showed promise last week.

I worry about Grundy's ruck load over the course of the season, its not healthy

Yes Ronnie. He was terrible. I really think he's just not up to it and there are 6 or 7 of last years crop waiting to grab that spot.

What a day to spend at the "G"!!

Thought we looked in control for most of the game, Crows wasted some chances early on but we took ours.

7 goals in the 3rd qtr!! Wow that was great to watch.

We look to be a pretty well balanced team with the addition of Lipinksi in the midfield. Just a good all round performance.
Just wish Tyler Brown attacked the footy a bit like his dad did, and I'm sure he would be a good contributor.

If we could just clean up our foot disposal we could make some of the better teams sweat a bit.

Ollie Henry will be some player for us, experience will see him get cleaner with the ball.

I love winning, but cant help but think we need another top 6 pick to get a gun forward or mid to really set up the future...

Only 12 pages on the game day thread?? We must of played well then lol!! Anyway, great day, great win, go pies!!

We shouldn't hone in on negatives, but as it's been raised....

Yes, Brown was pretty terrible and I would be surprised if he gets a game next week. Magden wasn't good too.

As for Grundy, yes, it is a worry and Krueger didn't really show much (or anything) in the ruck. He was good up forward, but looked overawed in the ruck.

We played daringly and made the Crows, who tried their guts out, look like witches hats at times. Krueger was an immediate upgrade on Cox, as was Cameron when he got on, and, I like Coxy, but he wasn't great last week, injured or not. Crows tried to go around us on the outside like many teams did during the Buckley era (and destroyed us) but we countered with late defensive slides and then punished them on the turnover through the middle. The diagonal handball chaining was infectious. A lot to like. Henry, McCreery, the Daicoses, Quaynor, Ginnivan... they are not bog standard draft picks.. they are gold. Lipinski and Krueger classy too.

Sensei Grundy wrote:Brown (don’t think he has it in him to be at AFL level), Kruger (good start) will make way for Maynard and Cox next week. Perhaps, if Roughead is ready, Madgen will also be replaced.
I see your enjoying the moment Sensei?!

I think Kreuger just jarred the shoulder- only had ice on it after the game- no sling.

Tyler Brown has been a defensive mid in the first two rounds- give him some slack.

Lots to like about Henry
