It will be carnage, absolute carnage. After some of the pumpings we've given them recently, they'll go in for the kill.

That would have to be the worst quality football match I've seen in ages - from both sides! We've definitely lost our hunger, passion and hardness for the ball at the moment - but what confuses me the most is how does a team completely drop their skill level the way we have?

I really don't know what the answer is - other than hiring a full-time psychologist! Injuries, shorter pre-season, young team etc etc are NO excuse. I can handle us losing when we give our all BUT some of our performances this year have been extremely disappointing. Even the biggest Pie optimist has to admit our season is all but over.

GO PIES!

Yeah, Cloke is starting to run into form, he was one of our better players today. Hate to say it, Daniel, but you're probably right about Rocca. It seems every match he gets a chance to stand up and kick a crucial goal and every week he misses.

I'm happy Bucks and Burns are injured. Cos the blowtorch will be applied to Shane O'Bree who is nothing but a passanger. I do NOT care about his once in a lifetime performance against PORT last week, cos this week, HE LOST us the game when he failed to execute a simple shot at goal from 10M in the 4th.

Weak as piss O'Bree, if U don't want to play.... F*** off and go home!

You know, this is the sort of game that Collingwood do well in.... hopelessly unfancied, nothing to lose. We probably won't win, but once again fall by 2 or 3 goals :(
This is going to be a long season....

Everyone is right about Jason Cloke. He tries, but has absolutely no idea of how to play the game. Next week he will be running around the forward line again, not getting a touch.

Also, WHY did we get rid of Steinfort anyway?

Absolutely shattered :(

I think the time has come to give the younger players a go- Mullins, Nixon, Shackleton, Brayden Shaw and Heath Shaw. The club has to look at whether they can play footy or not because at the moment there are so many passengers who should not be playing in the seniors. Give the younger players a chance because they haven't had one the last two years due to a good run with injuries.
We have no depth and I think it is partly due to our best 22 being in the team the past 2 years. The younger players did not get a go and now they have been thrown in and expect to replace quality players like the Tarrants and Buckleys. There is no doubt we need to recruit hard.
Mick and the coaching staff have now finally come to realise.. this team cannot win a premiership.

I am disappointed at the efforts of the boys and injuries is not an excuse today, they were in front by 27 points.
Players like Rocca, Licka, Brodie, Wakelin and Clement did to take a step up and be leaders to these younger players.
I don't expect much from the team next week, all I want to see is some heart, passion, courage and the 1%. Where has it all gone?

luv jess

BRING ON THE NUMBER 1 DRAFT PICK!. We will get SMASHED by the Aainst who seem to have their head so far up their ass, it wont be coming out for a few weeks. I'm not going to the game next week.. cant put up with our losses.. it hurts it really hurts!. Have taken my Pies phone cover off my phone for this week, and also gone is the ringtone. When i was walking out og the MCG after the game today, i was embarrassed to be weraing the black and white..... for the first time in my 17 years, i was embarrased to be wearing my Pies jumper. I was furious... i just wanted to jump onto the MCG and strangle our players for the shit performance they made me watch!.. Lift your act Pies. or it could get messy. Having said that, i will stick by my boys through the hard times as i did in 1999 abd i hope to god we can bounce back. McGough and Swan - you are f***ing legends!.

Ok maybe I was exxagerating when I said he was one of our better players, but Cloke was far from the worst on ground. It's great to see him making contests in defence and he was one of the few doing that today.

People, don't shot yourself over today! Yes, we got beaten and played woeful from the 10 minute mark of the last quater but really, like me, you should of relised things were going wrong after our loss to the dockers.
This year i would like to see Collingwood introduce a Under 25 squad for games say against Freo @ Freo ect to give the boys experiance. Either way there will no doubt be a big clean out come years end. Mick said after the g/f loss no players would be traded but this year I think they'll all be let off!
We're improving week by week thought. If we only win one more game for the year i hope its next week!!!

**Stick with the team guys, we're the Magpies and will be back bigger and better soon**

I started worrying after week 1 of the wiz cup..... even more so v Richmond, but yeah it was the Fremantle game that was the low point... we've lifted our game v Essendon and Port, but today I lost any hope that Collingwood could salvage this year.
