Can we win it without Bri? (And now Brit)
She's in the top 3 players in the comp is not #1. She's easily the best player at the club. Are Collingwood able to go all the way without her out there?
I felt like the list was pretty strong and in a place to challenge for the flag, along with Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. Molloy, imo, is our second best player and in the top 10 in the competition. Bonnici, Livingstone, Lambert and Schleicher are all amoungst the better players that should be in contention for AA selection in their positions. Frederick, Alexander, O'Dea, Downie and Chiocci are also good players that can influence a game. Ashleigh Brazill when she returns is also one of the better players in the comp. So I feel like we could win it all with Bri in the side, particularly with our fixture and the chance of home finals.
Without Bri, I dont know?
Ebony O'Dea and Tarni Brown have been named by some in the media as players that could step up and become more involved in the game in Bri's absence.
What do you think? Can someone else step up in Daveys absence? Who can it be? And can we take home the cup without her playing?

No Bri and now no Bri(tta).90 nice wrote:Now add Bonnici to the list of ACL
Amazed how well the others stood up given early injuries against the 'Dogs. But I'm not sure how they'll cope against a better team. Who knows? Gonna be hard if it wasn't already.

Girls were pretty battered and bruised after games against the Lions & Freo and were running on empty against the Roos.
Freo are like the AFL Hawks in their prime, play unsociable football and live on the edge of the rules.
A few players have some niggles and I know of one who is playing with a broken toe.
Going to be a tough ask against the Crows.
Will win against the Tigers.
Should make the finals but I don't expect a long campaign.

Our 2 best players are out. We have 2 games left. One win will confirm our place in the top 6.
To go all the way, from here, we'd need to win one of our final 2 season games (Crows away, Tigers home) and then likely have to travel to Brisbane or Freo unless Melbourne fall or North rise to 3rd. A win from there would likely see us have to travel to Adelaide for the PF. The GF could be anywhere at this stage.
I think Freo and the Crows are the two teams we'll struggle to compete with.
It'll be a huge task from here, but wouldn't it be something!

Well, no. We cant.
Very disappointed with the end of this season. I really thought we could have made a bigger push.
Questions now will be around both players recovery and if they'll be ready to return by round 1 and if they'll still have the same impact.
With players about to be poached by new clubs, we need to be smart.
