Ok so we lost,big deal.
We had 1/2 the team out either injured,or crook and Mick did the best he could with the team that we had.
The guys nearly steamrolled Port, but they had a near full strength team on the park.Just think what could have been had we had a full contingent on the park, propably could have been a totally different score.
Gee give the guys credit where credit is due.
Mick is doing his best.
I can remember 10 years ago, when we had the worst run in history and the only reason it was happeneing was that many of the tops giuys in the team were either injured or crook.
We go thru these bad patches.
I cant see Blues winning next week,so just thing that if we win then we are 2 games outside the 8.Also there is still 14 or so games to go before the finals,so give them a go.

I could not be more proud of the effort our boys put in yesterday... such
an improvement on past games .. with 3 of our main men missing the
others certainly stood up to be counted ! O'Bree you little beauty ! Ben
Johnson, Ryan Lonie, Paul Licuria, Jim Clement, sensational ! A real team effort - I think we are about to turn the corner - hope our injury woes will soon be over ! Can't wait for Tarks to get back.

Go the mighty magpies !

I thought we played well yeserday and if we had a full bench we would have won the game because i could tell that in the last five minutes we were getting tired and unfortunatly port took advantage of that and started to get on top of us. I felt so bad for cam they showed it on the big screen and i just felt so bad i hope he is ok!!

by the way good to see all the amount of Collingwood supporters there, i thought i would be the only one and i loved the way all of you in the cheer squad gave it to the feral port supporters!!

Great game by all 22. I thought Kinnear was OK and gave a contest. Not enough but still ok.

O'B Brilliant, McGough Great, Rocca good.

Richards took a step up.

Both Clokes looked good.

Licca was great

Lonie improved

Clement good

More positives than negatives - win around the corner.

More later.

Lica won't get reported, it was purely an accident. Carr went to smother/tackleLica and Lica followed through with glance to the jaw, but it was all in the motion of his kick. Carr's head was simply in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

Just on the game, good effort by the guys, too bad we couldn't get over the line.

McGough showed why he should be in the team each week, he just seems to have so much time when he gets the ball.

Can't wait to have Taz and Bucks back.

but the day we **** that ****head cole off from the team will be the day our team improves. i cant believe hes still in the seniors. the clanger king. does he have forward thinking? just kicks it in the general direction of our goals, which isnt good enough, it goes down the oppositions throat 80% of the time.
FFS, your negativity is starting to shit me big time!!!

If you can't watch a Collingwood game and come up with nothing but faults all the time you should start watching netball or start supporting Richmond.

Cole gets out there and has a go. He needs to improve but then who doesn't? When was the last time you had a red hot go?

Get with the program and behind our players instead of looking for faults all the f***ing time.
boo fkn hoo. wat are you his boyfriend or something?
all negative rararar didnt u see the first 2 sentences? get off ur fkn highhorse.
cole is shit, face the facts. cant kick for shit, always OOF or to the opposition. tackles a lot but is too high most of the time.
he needs to improve, hes been on the same level since he started playing.

sherrife

I reckon they could rotate the others through half forward and half back

Lica could play off the half back line as he would be a great rebounder as he was when he first started with us.

Sounds like a broken record, but im proud of the efforts yesterday.

Just have to work on Disposal, Tackling and marking (none of our players can mark on a lead above shoulder hieght!

Great weekend i had in Adelaide especially the second half joke in the cheer squad that is probably still going on (who in the last 8 years been worse than kinnear?) ANSWER- Jason Wild!

And also a thank you to the people in the Cheer Squad who organised for my Cousin (who is out here on holiday from the U.K.) to go out and do the Banner. He absolutley loved that and the game, and is coming on saturday for another dose!

it was a good game but its a shame we did not win over there. great game from o'bree mcgough played well as well. im looking forward to next week when we get bucks back our centre line hopefully will be o'bree mcgough bucks licca etc. its a shame about burns he put his body on the line during 1st quater.

was there any port power fans there at all coz all i saw was teal blue seats and did they colour them for that match as well coz they are not normally all 1 colour (if they did change the colour how sad).

bring on the blues we can only move on no point in looking back we have to play port in melb so we will get revenge here. for them to be calling eddie wa***r is a bit over the top but WE are the real COLLINGWOOD!!!!!

at least i can see past who i barrack for unlike you. you seem to think everyone who plays for us is just great. sorry to disappoint you, but not all of them are!

cole a marvellous footballer? LOL LOL get real. he would be just below average at best.
maybe he is a wonderful person but thats got nothing to do with his job to actually kick to someone in our team rather than just anywhere.

You're being far too harsh on Cole. If all our players could tackle like him we would be one tough side. Who cares if he goes a bit high once in a while because thats something he can easily learn.

As for his kicking, I've seen a lot worse and once he gets that under control he'll be a great player. However I don't want to see him kicking for goal at the moment, needs to stay at half back where he's needed.
