^ Well, do you agree that having "only" e.g. 50 (or 100 or 10) positive results from about 50,000 tests means folks are overreacting to COVID?

That was his point.

Yes, he is right they are over reacting. We should be reporting hospitalisations and icu numbers, not how many people have the virus and don’t end up in hospital.

He ignores exponential growth. He just sees the "small" current number and thinks there's no problem.

Exactly K.
It also ignores mutation of the virus. His "logical brain" is most certainly unaware of the fact that the virus mutates constantly, and there is no way of knowing what kind of virulent strains may well emerge as a result. He sees the figure 50 and says, "well ...logically, 50 out of a population of 50,000 tests is no reason to call a lockdown. " Was that the kind of logic he applied to formulate our game plan?

Yeah cause he had to spend time across half back and half forward.
When the game is on the line though, he is in the guts.

This is a smart decision
Of all players 30 or over this is the guy to keep
His integrity, training, consistent performances and standing in the game is exactly what we need with a young list
A new coach with new ideas would likely rejuvenate him as a player and leader
I’m sure he sat down with them and discussed what changes they see and what role he plays in them
The more decisions like this one being in the teams long term interest the more I like it
Oh and before people start whining about cap space his wages will be mostly eaten up by the veteran allowance if my memory serves me correctly

I imagine it went along the lines of we need to play the young guys in the guts and save as much money as possible, neither great news for Pendles but he'd understand the reality better than most
